These celebs chose to keep their baby's names secret for a long time, whether it was to protect their privacy or to avoid having their choice of name judged. Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner welcomed their second child in February 2022, but they waited almost a full year before sharing his name. Kylie joked on "The Kardashians", that they were waiting for him to choose.
Kylie revealed that Aire was their choice just a month prior to the baby's first Birthday.
2. Cardi B & Offset
Cardi B and Offset had their second child in September 2021. They waited seven months before they could finally share his name. The couple announced that Wave was their baby boy and shared the first pictures of him in April 2022. Cardi said that she was protecting her family by sharing the information so long ago.
"We experienced a lot of sadness when it came to Kulture -- horrible behavior that not even the older children have ever seen. Many people will post disgusting and mean things just to get our reaction. "We want to protect ourselves because we get very angry and upset," Cardi explained to Essence.
3. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are very private about their children. When it came to their third child, Ryan didn't even reveal her name. Ryan Reynolds confirmed the baby's gender several months later, but he refused to reveal her name.
"We're going to be original and all the letters are silent in her name," he joked. He joked that he wanted to give her something to fight for in life on "Today."
Blake and Ryan's friend Taylor Swift spilled the beans about the name of the little girl, and titled her song "Betty" to honor her. The song also refers to the couple's two other girls, Inez & James.

Beyonce and Jay-Z waited a month before they shared the names of their twins. They finally shared their names to the world in grand style. Jay-Z posed for an extravagant photoshoot at the oceanfront while Bey wore a ruffled gown and veil.

6. Gigi Hadid & Zayn Malik
Gigi Hadid, Zayn Malik and their baby girl were born in September 2020. However, it was not until January 2021 when they decided to share their names. Instead of making a huge announcement about their baby girl, Gigi subtly altered her Instagram bio to include "khai" as her mom.
7. Donald Glover
Donald Glover and Michelle secretly had their first child in 2016. They shared few details about their son's birth and did not reveal his name until nearly a year later. Donald finally revealed that the baby was named Legend during a performance at Governors Ball in 2017.
Donald stated, "This song was dedicated to everyone in this crowd and my young boy, Legend," before he performed "Baby Boy."
