Although being a parent is not an easy task, many teenage moms are able to successfully raise their children while still maintaining a successful career. Some celebrities have even managed to achieve fame while caring for their children.

Sophia Grace, a social media star and entrepreneur, rose to fame on "The Ellen Show" as a small girl. She's moved on from her days of singing Nicki Minaj songs live on TV and is now ready to become a mother. The 19-year old announced recently that she is expecting her first child together with her longtime boyfriend. Sophia insists that she isn't worried about being a young mother, despite the criticism.
"I feel that 19 seems a young age to have a child. Most people think that you should have children when you're 30, married, and live in your own home. Sophia explained to E! News. News. It's all about the individual. It's your problem, as long as it's something you are happy with and you feel ready for it.
2. Jamie Lynn Spears
Jamie Lynn Spears, a Nickelodeon star, announced that she was pregnant at 16 years old. Jamie Lynn chose to have the baby, despite the advice of her family to terminate the pregnancy or place the baby up for adoption. She decided to take a break from the limelight and move back to Mississippi to be a mother, which was a difficult time in her life.
"I believe that the easiest thing for possibly would have been to say, "Let's just get it over with. And like you go back and be the perfect little sister. Because that's your job." Jamie Lynn said that she was grateful to God she stood up for herself and said exactly the things she wanted.
3. Solange Knowles
Solange Knowles, then 17, tied the knot to Daniel Smith, her high school sweetheart. One year later, Solange gave birth to their son. Solange says that although it was scary to have a baby so young, she is not regretful.
"You'll be scared, and it's okay that you don't know the future. She wrote to her teenage self, "Some people will consider you dead because you have made the decision to bring another human being into this world at such a young age. But you made it out of love."
4. Sofia Vergara
Sofia Vergara was only 18 when she married her high school boyfriend. Sofia and Manolo were married a year later. Sofia said that although it was difficult to have a child, it was an enjoyable experience.
Redbook was told by her that she was 19 when Manolo gave birth. She had the energy to do everything. It's a huge responsibility. You can't go out often at night. You can't buy shoes if you don't have diapers. You need to be mature when you have children.
5. Kim Zolciak-Biermann
Kim Zolciak Biermann, a "Real Housewives star", was 19 when she discovered she was pregnant with Brielle. She admits it was scary at first but she got the support of her parents and it turned out to be one of the most rewarding things that ever happened to her.

6. Jourdan Dunn
Jourdan Dunn was a rising star in modeling when she discovered she was pregnant at 18 months. Designers were flexible and Jean Paul Gaultier designed a special look for her to wear on the runway at seven months pregnant. She admits that she was nervous initially, but her mom was there every step of her journey.
"I was astonished that I could be responsible for another person. "I was like, what the heck! I was fortunate to have my mum to guide and at the same moment she allowed me to trust my instincts," Jourdan shared with Fashion Magazine.
7. Suzanne Somers
Suzanne Somers married Bruce Somers, her first husband when she discovered she was pregnant at age 19. She regrets that she tied the knot so young and had an affair which ended their relationship. She admits that she wasn't in an unhappy marriage anymore, but she did have a lot of difficulty caring for her son.
"I was left with a new set if crises: feeding and clothing a child and maintaining a roof over my head. Suzanne shared her decision to model, and even did nude photos when I needed money to pay for my son's medical bills.
8. Whoopi Goldberg
Whoopi Goldberg struggled with drug addiction as a teenager. Alvin Martin, a drug counselor, helped her get sober and she and Whoopi eventually got married. The couple had their first child at the age of 18, but they split up a few years later. Although times were difficult for the mother-daughter couple, they eventually moved to Hollywood where Whoopi received her big break.
"I'm familiar with what it's like to have food stamps because my mom frames her [Welfare] cards. I remember that. We shared a single room and slept together in the same bed. "I remember that we used to drive across the country in broken down bugs when we wanted travel," Alex, Whoopi's child, said about her childhood.
9. Anna Nicole Smith
She was a mother long before Anna Nicole Smith, the Playboy model. She married Daniel at 17 and had her son Daniel one year later. Anna Nicole was featured on the cover of Playboy in 2005 and signed a contract with Guess in 2006. Daniel was even featured on her reality show. Daniel died on September 10, 2006, from an accidental overdose. Anna Nicole was also killed a few months later. Anna is survived her by her daughter Dannielynn who was born September 7, 2006.
10. Roseanne Barr
Roseanne Barr was just 17 when she discovered she was pregnant with her first child. Roseanne decided to give up the baby and gave her up for adoption. Roseanne became a celebrity and tabloids discovered the adoption. They tracked down Roseanne's daughter, who was just a teenager at that time. Roseanne was able to connect with her daughter, thankfully, before the story made national headlines.
"I moved to Denver, Colorado and became a Salvation Army home for unwed moms. My family was not supportive. My baby was given to the Jewish Family & Children's Service of Denver. They claimed they had a couple who had waited seven long years to have a Jewish baby. They came to take my baby, and I whispered to them, "You remember this, I will see you when I'm 18." I knew that. Roseanne said to People that she knew from the beginning that we would be reunited.
