Actors work their whole lives making movies that millions love. But sometimes, their hardest critics are their closest friends! Many celebrities are proud to show off their hard work to their kids, but many of them say that their kids are the most difficult to impress. Many famous children don't enjoy watching their parents' movies. While it is disappointing that their children don't enjoy watching their parents on the screen, celebrities are hoping that one day their children will change their mind.

These celebrity kids have their opinions on the movies of their parents.

1. Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck's children don't care about watching his movies, so it's hard for him to get them to see any of the films he's seen. Ben claims that they have only enjoyed "Armageddon" of all the movies he's convinced them to see -- but still enjoy him for it.

"It's funny, because that's one of my movies that my children have seen and that they all like, even though it's constantly mocked by them. "What is it, driving a tank to the moon?" They had fun, you see? They won't watch "The Town." So that's what Ben said to EW.

2. Alexa PenaVega

Although "Spy Kids," may be a familiar film in childhoods everywhere, star Alexa PenaVega claims her children aren't fans. They prefer "Sharkboy & Lavagirl", a film many fans mistakenly believe Alexa starred in.

"Everyone thinks that I was Lavagirl. "Everybody thinks I was Lavagirl." Alexa said that she wasn't Lavagirl. News.

3. Adam Sandler

Although Adam Sandler's kids aren't old enough to see most of his films, they have seen a few of his PG-13 movies. His daughters begged him to let them see the films, but when he did allow them to see some, they hated them.

They begged for them to come. They are like, "Please, it's unfair." Let me see your movies. I get yelled at on the street by those people and I don’t know what they’re talking about. So I show them my movies and after about 20 minutes, I can see them turning off and then I hear their voices. They are nervous about saying it but then they say, "Can we watch another?" Adam stated on "The Ellen Show."

4. Idina Menzel

While "Frozen", is loved by children all over the globe, Idina Menzel's child has no interest whatsoever in the film. Idina claims that he hates listening to her sing.

He doesn't care about "Frozen"! He was in kindergarten when he wanted to get some cool crayons from a girl. But he told me to stop talking in the car. People told Idina that singing is not permitted.

5. Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow doesn't like watching herself in movies, and her children seem to have followed her example. Apple, the actress's daughter, thinks it's weird when she's onscreen and has decided to stop watching any Gwyneth movies.

My children have never seen me in a film. She explained to People that although my son may have seen the "Iron Man" movies, she doesn't believe her daughter has ever seen me in a movie.

6. Ben Stiller

Ben Stiller says that his children don't want to see his films, even those that are intended for them! Ben claims that his daughter and son have seen "Night at the Museum", but he doesn’t bother asking them to see any other films.

"They have seen one of my movies, Night at the Museum." You don't want your children to see your movies. He said that he believed they would find the time to watch it.

7. Emily Blunt

Emily Blunt's children, who are still young, have not expressed an interest in seeing their mother on the screen. She claims she has shown her children trailers for her films, but they don't want to see them again. They have only made one exception for her latest film, "Jungle Cruise".

"This trailer, interestingly, was the only one they watched multiple times." They don't usually pay attention to me on the screen, but they are really interested in 'Jungle Cruise'," she stated on "Live With Kelly & Ryan."

8. Courteney Cox & David Arquette

While Courteney Cox, David Arquette and David Arquette are important to the "Scream" franchise, their daughter Coco has yet to see any of the films. Courteney claims that Coco doesn't like watching their movies, but she might just force her to see the latest "Scream." flick.

Courteney said that she had seen a part of "Scream 1 '...She doesn’t like to watch any of our films... I’m going to make her watch [Scream 5] with her eyes closed," Courteney explained to Extra.

9. Matt Damon

Matt Damon claims that his children, especially his 15-year old daughter Isabella, don't enjoy watching his films. He claims that Isabella, his 15-year-old daughter, pokes fun at his films which helps him keep his feet on the ground.

"You know what, my 15 year old refuses to see [Good Will Hunting]. She won't see any movie that I'm in, even if it's good. He said that she just loves to give me s---t during an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning.

10. Kate Winslet

Kate Winslet claims that her children didn't watch her movies when they were younger. Even more shocking was her admission that they didn't make it to the end of "Titanic" when they finally did manage to sit down and watch the movie.

"They haven’t seen anything that I’ve done before. Kate said that they only saw half of "Titanic", but that was all.

11. Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon answered a question about letting her children see "Cruel Intentions" when she was asked if they would ever allow them to. They don't like watching movies where their parents are having sex, and they wouldn't watch any of her movies!

They don't want to see me in a movie. It's strange. They find it strange and they are like, "This is weird." I especially remember seeing their dad and me having sex in the ..." movie she mentioned on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen."
