"I think I have concussion." Don't worry. I will finish the show.
Who knew that live music could be dangerous? There are some serious risks involved in performing on stage, especially if a musician has to deal with a large stage production. Many artists have been hurt while performing, whether it was due to pyrotechnics mishaps, overzealous audience members or stunts that went wrong. These musicians have all recovered from their stage accidents. However, they left their fans very concerned.
What happened to these musicians?
1. Bebe Rexha
Bebe Rexha, a singer on a recent New York City tour, was performing when an audience member threw her cell phone. Bebe was seen on video falling to her knees, holding her head and grabbing her phone. She was taken to hospital and received three stitches.
Bebe is fine, but the man who threw it was arrested and charged with assault. The charge was upgraded later to a felony due to the fact that he had used the phone as weapon.
2. Ava Max
Ava Max suffered an assault during a concert she performed in Los Angeles. A man was dragged off stage by security as he attempted to slap Ava Max. The man wasn't arrested, and according to TMZ the man was just trying to "hold" her and not hurt her. Ava revealed that the man had not been arrested, but he did injure her eye.
He slapped my face so hard that it scratched inside my eye. She Tweeted that he would never come to another show. "Thank you for the amazing fans tonight in LA!"
3. Dave Grohl
Dave Grohl fell off stage in 2015 during a Foo Fighters show in Sweden. Dave Grohl knew immediately that something was wrong and told the crowd he just broke his leg. The band continued playing while he was taken backstage to be treated by a paramedic. After learning that his ankle was dislocated, he returned back to the stage. He completed the rest of his set while sitting with his leg raised -- and his ankle held in place by an ambulance paramedic.
"The Foo Fighters played a Queen song onstage and I looked at the floor and asked, "OK, can you let me go back up on stage?" It didn't hurt. My paramedic said 'I must hold your ankle in position', and I replied, 'Well then, you're coming to the f--king s--t stage with me now.' He did," he said Entertainment Weekly.
4. Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga performed in New Zealand, when one of the dancers accidentally struck her with a metal prop. She left the stage immediately to consult a medical professional who told her that she may have suffered a concussion. She continued to perform 16 more songs despite the injury.

5. Pink
In 2010, Pink was touring in Germany and one of her stage stunts failed. She fell out of the harness that was meant to lift her above the crowd, and was dragged behind a barricade. She had to stop the show to go to the hospital, but was not seriously hurt.
I'm just sore. Nothing is broken. I built that barricade for my b--- !!!!" She Tweeted. "To all of my Nurnberg fans, I am so sorry that the show ended in this way. I'm embarrassed and sorry...Didn’t get clipped into 2 harness correctly, dragged me off stage, fell into2 barricade. Getting xrays. I hope at least it looked cool !!!"
6. Post Malone
Post Malone, in 2022, was performing on stage when he fell into the hole that was supposed to lower his guitar. He was taken off the stage after he lay on the ground for several minutes. He told fans that he would need "three or four" minutes to care for himself. He was not seriously injured and returned to the stage.
When he returned, he said: "I'm sorry for the big-ass gap in the stage. I want to thank everyone for their patience." "I'm grateful to everyone for sticking with me, and I also want to thank everybody who came to see me. I have the best f****** fans in the entire world." "No matter what we do, I will keep trying to kick my ass and continue to go and make this tour awesome."
7. Enrique Iglesias
Enrique Iglesias had an accident with a drone in 2015 while performing at a concert. He reached for the drone during the concert, which he'd done before. Unfortunately, he grabbed the wrong piece of the device. The propellers of the drone cut his fingers, and fractured his right hand. He returned to the stage after receiving medical treatment and, against his doctor's advice, finished the show wearing a tee shirt wrapped around his wrist. He later required reconstructive surgery, and was left with damage to the nerves in one of his fingertips.
"To tell you the truth, I didn't really feel it with all the adrenaline." He said later that he was "really surprised" by the amount of blood he was losing. I felt embarrassed and ashamed in front of all my fans, but especially the one right up front. You could see blood all over my hand every time I moved it. At that time, I was unable to feel any pain. "I felt pain after surgery."
8. Lil Durk
Lil Durk suffered a serious injury in 2022 while performing at Lollapalooza. Pyrotechnic effects exploded into his face. The rapper performed the show despite the situation. He wrote : "Due the incident that occurred at Lollapalooza Chicago on stage, i'ma take time off & focus on health", he . "I finished yesterday my performance for my fans. Appreciate y'all."
Since then, he has recovered and is back on tour.

"God Bless Atlanta Sports medicine for a successful Knee Surgery fixed my torn Patella #Jesus #backoutcheain6weeks," he wrote on Instagram.
10. Michael Clifford
Michael Clifford, guitarist for 5 Seconds of Summer, was injured after a pyrotechnics accident during a London show. He got too close to pyrotechnics while performing and his hair and face caught fire. He was quickly treated for his burns after he left the stage. He made a full and happy recovery.
What the f---ks? Sorry I couldn't finish the encore but at least I looked like two faces. Michael tweeted at the time, "Thanks for worrying everyone1".
11. Kelsea Ballerini
Kelsea was also scared during a concert in Boise, Idaho. The singer was caught off guard by a video of something flying toward her eye. She left the stage but returned to tell the audience not to throw things.
She took to Facebook the next day to let everyone know that she was fine, but "someone had thrown a bracelet at me, and it struck me in my eye. It scared me more than it hurt me."
She added, "we all have triggers, layers of fear, deeper than what's shown. That's why I walked offstage, to calm myself down, make sure that the band, crew and crowd felt safe, to continue." "That's all I ever want is for the shows to feel safe for us all." I love you all and really appreciate your concern. Let's make the final two shoes of this tour the best ever.
