Even if you are a celebrity , life behind bars isn’t easy. Prisoners spend a great deal of time in prison pondering their mistakes.

Some stars were actually able to meet other celebrities while they were in prison. They may not have made lifelong friends with their fellow prisoners, but they had the opportunity to change their lives.

Check out the celebrities who are currently in prison.

1. Jen Shah and Elizabeth Holmes

Jen Shah, a former Real Housewives actress, has become close with Theranos co-founder Elizabeth Holmes as they both serve time in a Texas jail. Jen's representative claims that she is teaching fitness classes, and has adopted a maternal role toward Elizabeth, who has 10 years on her.

"They're friends. Both are rehabilitating, and they've bonded because of their shared journey to positive change. They have a great understanding of each other, thanks to their situations. "They're going through it together", Jen's representative told people.

He continued, "Jen has given her lots of advice." She has even held Elizabeth's infant and met her.

2. Todd Chrisley & Rick Singer

Todd Chrisley and Rick Singer, the mastermind behind the college admissions scandal, are both currently serving time in Florida at FPC Pensacola. Todd's daughter Savannah claims that the two men crossed paths, even though they are not close friends. Todd reportedly gave Rick advice about the book he is writing.

"Dad said, 'Don't forget the chapter in which you snitched everyone.' Savannah said, "He's the president of the place" during an appearance on Viall Files Podcast.

3. Mike "The Situation", Sorrentino, & Billy McFarland

While in prison, Jersey Shore actor Mike "The Situation", met Billy McFarland, co-founder of the Fyre festival. Mike claims that Billy McFarland was quiet and reserved during their time in prison. He was sent to an isolated housing unit for trying to smuggle a recording device.

He would say "hi," but he was not in my group. Mike stated on the Snooki and Joey Podcast that he played against him at softball or basketball, but he was then thrown out.

4. Michael Cohen & Mike "The Situation", Sorrentino

Mike "The Situation", Sorrentino, met Donald Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen during his time in prison. Mike Sorrentino claimed after his release that he had tried to convince Michael Cohen to sneak him some extra chicken from the cafeteria.

The most important thing to eat in prison. Many of the men will barter. When they make food deals, it's a good deal. So when Michael Cohen was put in prison, I thought, "Alright." Mike replied. "So, I went up to Michael Cohen. I said, 'Listen Mike. You're going to need to do something. It's his first day. He came in, you know. He said 'Anything Mike? What do you want? "I said to you, 'I need you to help me smuggle some chicken.'

Michael may have agreed to help but it does not sound like the situation actually worked out. Later , a Michael rep called the story'red sauce self-promotion fiction.

5. Ja Rule, Alan Hevesi and Dennis Kozlowski

Ja Rule was in prison for gun possession and tax fraud when he met Dennis Kozlowski, former CEO of Tyco International and former New York comptroller Alan Hevesi. Ja Rule recalls that the men listened to TV and discussed stocks.

Outside, you don't see guys like these every day. He told The Daily News that the place was amazing. "It's funny. We come from completely different backgrounds. "But when you're in this place, you're always here."

6. Joe Giudice & Apollo Nida

While serving his sentence, Real Housewives actor Joe Giudice met Apollo Nida, Phaedra's ex-husband. Joe Giudice didn't even know Apollo Nida before they were in prison together, but the two men had the opportunity to hang out and get to know each other.

"Yes, Joe said that he really liked him...My husband didn’t know who Joe was because he doesn't follow the show. So when he arrived, he met Joe, and he really liked him. It was nice that they met. They met. I don't even know if they live in the same town, but they did. Joe said that he was really cool," Teresa, Joe's former girlfriend said on Reality Checked Radio Show.
