"I want him in touch with the real world."

Fame and fortune are often the keys to Hollywood success. However, just because celebrities are making big money doesn't mean they live a luxurious lifestyle. Continue reading to discover which celebs live modestly.

1. Julia Fox

Julia Fox may seem to have a luxurious lifestyle, but she revealed recently that she prefers to live a simpler life behind closed doors. Julia Fox shared her tiny apartment in New York City with her son through TikTok. Julia was criticized by some for living in such an incongruous space. However, she said that she doesn't like to spend too much on herself and that it will benefit her son.

She said, "Even though it is possible to afford a larger place -- probably because I live in New York -- it's about Valentino having that sense of normalcy." "I don’t want him growing up to be a f---ing pimp, you know what i mean?" Because I was raised in the real world, I want him to feel connected with it. My son should have the same.

2. Tiffany Haddish

Tiffany Haddish is a successful entrepreneur, but she still chooses to live frugal, whether that's by rewearing red carpet dresses or using Groupons to cut down on her expenses. Tiffany stated that she was able to make a living from her money and immediately began to look for ways to create generational wealth. After deciding to purchase a house, she budgeted $500 per month. With her salary from "Girls Trip", she was finally able pay the house off.

People told me to use it in other ways but I used it for the mortgage because I was afraid of becoming homeless again. Although I now have more money than I used to, I still fear being poor. Tiffany stated to Cosmopolitan that for every movie she made, she would buy more land or a home.

3. Anthony Anderson

Anthony Anderson is a huge success on "Black-ish", but he doesn’t spend money recklessly. Anderson says that he always looks to the future with his money, and thinks about how he can make it a better life for himself in 30 years.

"I am not here to buy the latest cars. I don't own the largest house on the block. Anderson stated that he has a moderate home on the best block in a Kiplinger.com interview. My parents stressed the importance of planning for the future. It's not all about the present. It will be 30 years in the future. Be aggressive in funding these accounts while you are young so that I have money later in my life.

4. Kristen Bell

Kristen Bell has had a few changes in her spending habits over the years but she is still conscious of how she handles money. Dax Shepard was her wedding, which cost only $142. Bell also admitted that she used coupons at one time. She admitted to even stealing coupons from her neighbor.

"I use lots of coupons. She said that she almost only shops with coupons and added, "I may have stolen some from my neighbors' mailboxes." It wouldn't have been possible in the darkness of night. If I was walking my dogs and it sticks out, it may have been more than one time.

5. Warren Buffett

Warren Buffett is one of the most wealthy men in the world, but he has always been careful about how he spends his money. He lives in the house he purchased in 1958 for $31,500. He avoids big purchases like buying a new car. Warren claims it is not because he is frugal but that he doesn’t believe spending money will make his life happier.

Warren stated to People, "I buy everything in my life." "Would 10 homes make you happier? You can only possess one possession. I can't eat a $100 meal and a McDonald's hamburger. This is how I am put together. I don't think I can equate what I spend with how much enjoyment I get from it.

6. Peter Dinklage

Although Peter Dinklage is a household name because of his role in "Game of Thrones", he doesn’t live a Hollywood lifestyle. He lives in New Paltz with his family. He may not have the money to hire someone to help him around the house but he prefers to do it himself. Peter even talked about purchasing a chainsaw to do his landscaping on his property in a Rolling Stone interview.

7. Jay Leno

Jay Leno might have a large car collection and live in an extravagant home but he still lives below his means. Jay has stated that he has always tried to have two jobs, and to save money while spending the money from one. Jay saved all his money while hosting the "Tonight Show" (NBC) and spent only his income on his comedy tours.

When I was a child, I had two jobs. I worked in a Ford dealership as well as at McDonald's. I would spend money at one job, and save money at the other. This is still how I live today. I live off the income I earn as a comedian and all my TV money goes to the bank. Jay stated that he had never spent any TV money before he retired from late-night.

8. Dave Grohl

Dave Grohl isn't a rock star and instead, the Foo Fighters frontman prefers to be more cautious about spending his money. Grohl says that he saves most of his income and prefers to drive a family vehicle over a sports car. Dave has spent his one major expense on his recording studio, which is understandable considering that music is what he makes a living.

"Money goes straight into my bank account where it turns all moldy, smelly, and musty...I don’t waste time worrying about making more of what I have. I'm not a banker. I'm a musician. It also gives me freedom. It lets me do what I like and doesn't require any worry. I drive a family vehicle, not an SUV, but one that can carry five people. He told The Red Bulletin that he has a house that's just large enough.

9. Ashley Greene

Ashley Greene, who made a name for itself in "The Twilight Saga", said that she didn't plan to spend her money extravagantly. She shared that her father taught her how to be thrifty and that that was how she wanted her life to look.

Marie Claire said that she is fortunate because her dad taught me how to save and be frugal. "It's important to me that I know I don’t have to do an acting job for 2 or 3 years if that is what I want and that I can still make my car and house payments and feed my dogs.
