1. Ashton Kutcher and Harry Styles

Ashton Kutcher was a bit confused by Harry Styles when he ran into him. Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis were at a party hosted a singer, when guests began singing karaoke. Ashton and Mila weren't sure who Harry was when he took to the stage and only complimented him after his performance. Harry was happy to accept the compliment, and didn't mention that he was a professional.

"This kid stands up and does this ABBA song. It's amazing. It's bananas.' This kid walks off the stage and Mila and me go up to him. We are like, "Man, I got something to tell you, you're an ringer." You are like a karaoke singer. You are really good. Ashton responds, "Thanks, man. Thank you." Ashton said, "I really appreciate that," to Esquire.

He said, "We go and see our friend, we say, 'God that guy was really great, huh?' He said, "God, that guy was really good, huh?" '...Oh my god, now I feel like a jerk. He is a professional singer. We're trying tell him that he's a great singer. And I like feel so dumb."

2. Ed O'Neill & Britney Spears

Ed O'Neill, who was waiting for a flight, was greeted by Britney Spears. He didn't recognize Britney. Britney approached Ed as he was about to board the plane and said that she is a huge fan of "Modern Family." Britney took a photo with Ed, which Ed only discovered after Britney shared it on social media.

"She came up to me and said, Oh, Mr. O’Neill, I love Modern Family' and that you're my favorite show.'" He explained before Britney politely asked for a photograph. "So I said, "Sure, fine, you're allowed to take it," She sat down and took the card. I replied, "Have fun." I'm going.' And so I went. My manager texted me the next day and asked, "What is it?" 53,000 likes. It's Britney,'' Ed shared with "The Ellen Show."

3. Amy Schumer & Goldie Hawn

Amy Schumer and Goldie Hwn were together in "Snatched" before they met. Goldie didn’t know Amy. Amy said that she met Goldie while flying and wanted to pitch the movie, but Goldie wasn't able to recognize Amy at the time.

"We had never met. I waited until they got off the plane and then I went up and harassed her. I was like, "I really want to you to play my mother in this movie." She was like, "Okay honey," Amy said on "Today".

Goldie later stated that Amy was "sweet" and that she felt "bad" about not being able to recognize her.

4. Christopher Nolan and Harry Styles

Ashton Kutcher doesn't have to know Harry Styles, either! Christopher didn't know Harry Styles was famous before he auditioned for his movie "Dunkirk."

"I mean, my child had spoken about him. He was a subject that my children talked about, but I didn't know. Christopher explained that Harry was cast because he was a great fit for the role and has earned a place at the table.

5. Rami Malek & Bella Hadid

Although Bella Hadid is an international supermodel and model, Rami Malek didn't recognize her on a Paris night out. He said that he doesn’t know the identities of people because he isn’t on social media.

"I am not on social media. I am not as up-to-date with the world as I should. Rami said that she danced in Paris with Bella Hadid the other night and didn't know her name."

6. Martha Stewart & Chip & Joanna Gaines

Joanna Gaines and Chip Gaines were thrilled to meet Martha Stewart. However, Martha didn't recognize them in person. They were happy to meet Martha Stewart, however, the HGTV power couple did not mind.

"She had no clue who we were, and she didn't even know what they were." We don't mind, Joanna was so happy to meet Martha. Chip shared his feelings with the New York Post about Martha's graciousness and support. It was a truly wonderful moment for them to meet her."

Martha replied later, saying that she knew about the couple but didn't recognize them at the time.

7. Donna Karan & Halsey

Donna Karan, the founder and designer of DKNY, didn't know who Halsey was when she hosted the 30th anniversary party. Donna spoke to a media outlet during the event and said that she couldn’t identify the singer from the crowd.

"Who is Halsey?" Is this Halsey? My granddaughter [knows who she is] I think so. She said, "I'm sure she is great," to Page Six.

8. Mama June Shannon & Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus is a fan Mama June from TLC's TLC's "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," however, when they met, she didn't recognize the singer. Miley stopped by to say hello as they were both on "Good Morning America" at the time.

"This may sound terrible on my part but it was so crazy at Good Morning America. [Miley's] like: 'Oh my God, Mama June! She walked up to me and hugged my hand. It was so fast that I didn't notice it was her until she passed me. June confessed to it on "The Wendy Williams Show."

9. Phil Collins & Adele

Adele was already on her way to stardom when she met Phil Collins. Phil Collins didn't recognize Adele, despite her success in the music industry. He immediately sought to schedule a writing session after he learned.

"We met in London three to four years ago. She wanted to write with us and I was very flattered. But I didn't know her because I had been living beneath a rock. He told People that he quickly discovered the truth and "wow, I took a crash course in Adele."
