Some celebs have found love on their first dance, at least those who met on "Dancing With The Stars." Many couples have fallen in love on the dancing floor during the 31 seasons of the show. Some of these relationships were "showmances" that lasted only a few months, but other couples from "DWTS", have gone on to get married and walk down the aisle. Even if they don't win the mirrorball trophy, these dancers will walk away with something better.

1. Daniel Durant & Britt Stewart

Daniel Durant, an actor from "CODA", competed in "DWTS" with Britt Stewart. Now they are dating. In February, the couple announced their relationship in Valentine's Day messages. Britt shared a video with the couple set to Montell Fisher's "Fall in Love with You," while Daniel posted a selfie.

"My Valentine. "Happy Valentine's Day!" Daniel wrote.

2. Nikki Bella & Artem Chigvinstev

Artem Chigvinstev, a "DWTS" professional, fell in love with Nikki Bella the moment he met her. He claims he fell in love with his wife Nikki Bella as soon as he saw her at the dance studio. Artem says that meeting Nikki Bella is one of his most favorite memories.

"I called the executive producer after our first meeting and said, "Wow, she's incredible." In fact, I told her that I thought I was in love. I didn't understand what it meant at the time. It's like meeting someone and not knowing how you feel. You have this overwhelming feeling, but you don’t know how to deal with it," Artem explained on "The Bellas Podcast."

They began dating in early 2019 and got engaged in the same year. Their first child was born in 2020.

3. Peta Murgatroyd & Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Peta Murgatroyd met Maksim Chmerkovskiy while they worked on Broadway, but it was not until they both appeared as professional dancers on 'DWTS' that they really connected. Maks was then engaged to "DWTS" pro Karina smirnoff, and Peta had been dating another dancer. In 2012, both were single and started hanging out. They admit that they didn't have an official date but their first dinner was because of "DWTS."

"I felt like we didn't have an official date because...it's funny, I was a little worried about a particular situation in the second season of Dancing with the Stars. He asked, "Do you want us to discuss it at dinner?" Peta spoke to Health magazine.

They dated and, although they broke up, they got back together eventually and married.

4. Val Chmerkovskiy & Jenna Johnson

Val, Maksim's brother, also fell in love his wife Jenna Johnson through "DWTS." Jenna Johnson joined "DWTS" as a member of the troupe in 2014. Jenna recalls that it was love at the first sight.

"I was the only person new to the cast when I first saw him. It was my first rehearsal day after I finished So You Think You Can Dance'. I'll never forget it. When I first walked into my cabin, I was so nervous. He was the very first person I saw. And he tried to introduce himself. I thought, "Oh my gosh!" "He's the one!"

They began dating in the year after and, despite a brief split, got back together and engaged in 2018. In 2019, the couple got married and welcomed their first baby in January.

5. Robert Herjavec & Kym Johnson

During the 20th season of "DWTS", Kym Johnson, a professional dancer, was partnered up with Robert Herjavec. The two grew close throughout the competition. The pair had become a couple by the end of the show but Robert claims he needed to ask Kym out more than once before she said yes.

"We had been really good friends throughout the entire process, and we only got together at the end." I had asked her out before and she refused. I had to be very persistent before I asked her out again. Robert told Cheddar that he had spent a lot time with her, spending 10, 11 hours per day with her.

6. Sasha Farber & Emma Slater

Sasha Farber met Emma Slater while they were both dancers on the "DWTS". Sasha Farber says that although things did not turn romantic immediately, he knew Emma "three to four months" after meeting her. They were even engaged on the show before they tied the knot in two years. Unfortunately, they split up in 2022.

7. Val Chmerkovskiy & Amber Rose

Val Chmerkovskiy briefly dated Amber Rose during Jenna Johnson's separation from him. Val Chmerkovskiy and Amber Rose's relationship lasted only five months, but both Val and Amber said that they had enjoyed their time together.

"She is an amazing woman, and I am very fortunate to have met her. A loving mother, a great friend and a wonderful human being. Reserved, poised and loyal...We lead very different lifestyles and unfortunately, it did not work out between us...I'll continue to support, praise, and defend against anyone who dares question her integrity as woman, friend, and, most importantly, mother to her son." Val wrote this in an now-deleted blog post.

8. Karina Smirnoff & Mario Lopez

During the third season of "DWTS," Karina was paired with Mario Lopez, and a relationship blossomed. Karina recalls that the two had an instant connection, even though initially they tried to resist falling in love.

She told People, "I thought he was very hot and charming." "We tried to resist the attraction for as long as possible. "But that was a short-lived effort."

Mario confessed to Karina that he had cheated on her.

9. Karina Smirnoff & Maksim Chmerkovskiy

After Karina Smirnoff split with Mario Lopez, Maksim Chrmerkovskiy began dating her fellow "DWTS Pro". They were engaged in 2009 but never made it to the altar. In September 2009, they called off their engagement because of their different views on starting a family.
