In a shocking video, the "James Bond" of Israel revealed that he was volunteering to help victims in the wake of Hamas attacks.
Lior Raz has stepped up to the front lines in order to assist those who are affected by the ongoing conflict in Israel.
The Fauda actress, described as "James Bond" of Israel, took to social media on Monday to announce that he was volunteering to help victims during attacks by Hamas.
In a video sent to X, formerly Twitter, Raz, 51 is seen ducking for cover behind a wall as missiles fly above.
Raz, who has worked on The Crowded Room among other projects, wrote: "Acompanied by Yohanan Plisner and Avi Essacharoff I headed south to join hundreds brave 'brothers-in arms' volunteers working tirelessly to help the population in southern Israel."
He added, "We were sent into the bombarded city of Sderot to remove 2 families."
Raz's support of Israel comes at a time when conflict has erupted across the region following a deadly surprise attack by Hamas.
The group attacked Israel by air and land on Saturday morning. Israel responded by firing missiles and launching a ground attack.
The death count has reached almost 1800 as of Tuesday morning. At least 900 Israelis, and 830 Palestinians are dead. Both sides have suffered thousands of injuries.
The attack on Saturday is considered to be a significant escalation in the conflict that has raged between Israel and Palestine for decades, dating back to 1948.
