Todayshow viewers are excited to hear good news from anchor Al Roker Roker, who has been battling blood clots, and a long recovery process, is now back at home just in time to celebrate the holidays.

Roker's serious health issues have kept him in the hospital

Todayshow viewers last month noticed that Roker was absent from the morning show for quite some time. In an Instagram post, he explained that he had suffered from blood clots in one leg which had spread to his lungs.

Roker wrote, "After some medical whacka-mole I am so lucky to be receiving terrific medical care. And on the way to recovery."

He was released from the hospital just in time for Thanksgiving. However, complications caused by his condition forced him to be rushed back a few days later.

Roker's illness caused him to miss major events such as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (the first time in 27 years he missed it) and the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting. Roker has been in and out of the hospital for several weeks. But, it seems like he is finally at home.

He's finally back at home!

Roker captioned the photos, "Home!" Roker added a series pictures of Roker and his family taking photographs in their home. "So grateful to my family, friends and medical personnel, @todayshow family, and all your thoughts, prayers, and best wishes."

Former Todayshow anchor Katie Couric, and current Todaycolleague Jacob Soboroff have left heart emojis below Roker's post. Savannah Guthrie wrote: "CUTIES!" You belong right there.

Reactions from Fans: "You've been Missed!"

Roker's Instagram fans were equally happy to see him at home. "Wow! One person commented, "Wow! "Okay, Mr. Roker! Get well!! We still need you!"

Another fan wrote, "Happy to see your home." "May you heal and grow stronger," another fan wrote. We are so happy that you are back! We wish you a speedy recovery! Your example is inspiring in so many ways. We look forward to seeing you on Today when you are ready! "You're missed!"

Although there is no information yet about when Todayviewers will see Roker back on the morning show, fans are happy to know that the reporter continues his recovery at home with his family.
