Alex Rodriguez reveals his condition for allowing his daughter Natasha to study musical theatre in college.

The former MLB player revealed to Us Weekly what would be required to allow Natasha pursue musical theatre at the University of Michigan.

A-Rod revealed, "My condition was that all of these young actors wanted to skip college. I always said, 'You [can] study drama, you can choose whatever you like, as long as you take your business classes in Michigan. They have a fantastic business school.'" "And that [was] the deal."

Natasha is 18 years old and the daughter of Rodriguez, who was previously married to Cynthia Scurtis. Ella, 15 years old, is also shared by him and her. Natasha, who graduated from high school in May of this year, has committed to the University of Michigan's BFA program for performing arts.

"I cannot believe it. A-Rod continued, "I'm going to drop her off in Ann Arbor in a few months. I'm incredibly proud and sad of Natasha because she's leaving us. "And, you know, to us dads, our children are always our babies, even if they are 30 years old."

"I went to wake my little girl, Ella and their rooms were right next to each other. "I've done this habitually for 18 years. I knock on Natasha's door and she isn't there," said the baseball player. "I was like, 'Oh this is a glimpse of the next four-years.'"

A-Rod is also proud of her work ethic and mindset as she enters college.

"I think that she is very clear about what she wants." "She's a very hard worker, and she doesn't want to be given anything for free," said Rodriguez.

"She is a special young lady, and I believe her goal is perform in one [show] as big as a HAMILTON.
