Seann William Scott revealed the amount he earned as Stifler for American Pie -- and you may be shocked by his extremely low salary.

In the midst of the Hollywood Strike, an interview from March 2022 has surfaced. Scott revealed on The Rich Eisen show he earned only $8,000 for his role in the 1999 comedy. This was his first full-length film.

Scott, 46, said, "That was quite a bit of money back then."

"I bought a used Thunderbird afterward for about five grand or six. He recalled, "I was like, Oh yeah, baby." "I don’t know what happened with the other two thousand dollars because I had to work as a Churro Guy at the LA Zoo, so it may have been even less than eight thousands."

"I shot the film." Scott continued, "We were waiting for it to be released." "I bought the Thunderbird and spent the whole of the $8,000 or $7000 on it. Then I worked odd jobs, then at the LA Zoo, waiting for the film to come out."

American Pie, which grossed over $235 millions at the box-office, spawned 3 sequels, including American Pie 2 (2002), American Wedding (2003), and American Reunion (2009). Scott earned $5 million, plus a percentage of gross box-office.

During the recent strike, several stars spoke out about their shockingly low -- or nonexistent -- residuals checks. Others revealed that they were forced to take second jobs due to being underpaid for their acting roles.

It is the 1st time in 60 Years that both unions protested simultaneously, as SAG and WGA fought against the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.
