Amy Schumer shares her struggles with mental health with her followers.
On Thursday, the comedian posted a selfie on Instagram showing her dressed in a grey beanie with matching crewneck.

Fans and celebrity friends echoed her sentiments, with Brittany Furlan confirming it by commenting "correct" and then "yes"
The 40-year old has been open about personal struggles and has previously spoken out about abusive relationships, her relationship with her mother, and the long-lasting effects of alcoholism and multiple sclerosis on her father.
Schumer revealed that she was going through a procedure to remove her appendix as well as her uterus in September 2021.
Schumer had to have a hysterectomy due to painful periods and endometriosis. She was diagnosed with 30 spots of endometriosis in her uterus. In an Instagram video, Schumer, 40, explained to her followers that her appendix was also removed because of endometriosis.
Schumer shared her post with fans, telling them that she felt stronger and more optimistic about her life after the operation. She wore a T-shirt that read "Recovery mode on" and captioned the photo with details about her surgery, diagnosis, and recovery. You can also hear her doctor explaining her pathology.
"I cried through most of the findings. My endo ravaged appendix was afflicted by a tumor. Both ovaries had chocolate cysts. She began, "Endo of the uterus and psoas all throughout all my lifelong pain explained to me and lifted out from my body."
"I'm already a different person." The comedian said that she is bursting with joy at the new energy she has to be with her son. "For anyone who is curious if this could be related to my difficult pregnancy or hyperemesis, I'd say yes!"
She said, "I cannot answer medically because there's no research on this condition because they only happen to women and there's no time to study them because all resources must be channeled to researching ERECTILE DISSABILITY (sic),"
She continued her frustration by concluding in all caps, "THERE IS NOT BARELY ANY REsearch ON ENDOMETRIOSIS, WHICH OVER 10% of women have." ALL FUNDING SEEMS GO TO DICKMEREGENCIES.
