He noted that Mandel had apparently "not done his homework" on "Pump Rule" and the now-infamous Scandoval. This refers to Sandoval cheating on Ariana Madix, his long-term girlfriend, with his co-star Raquel Leviss.

Andy started, and the words "Jackhole of the Day” appeared at the bottom of the screen.

Then he showed a clip of the podcast in which Mandel's daughter explained how Sandoval had allegedly kissed Raquel just before Scheana Shay got married. Mandel responded, asking, "Who's Scheana?"

Andy stated that Sandoval as well as Howie were being dragged onto social media after the clip was over.

"Howie you need to be careful before taking a side. Bravo fans can be very passionate," he said, before concluding that "Howie you have to binge on 'Pump Rules' dude. I'll be your friend later. Then, do the interview all over again.

Lala Kent, Sandoval's co-star on "Vanderpump Rules", also wondered why Sandoval selected Mandel's podcast as his first interview after the scandal.

She posted on Tuesday, Instagram Stories: "What a strange f---ing interview." "Like, if my staff were to slide into mine emails and were like, ‘Lala, it's our first interview, the Howie- Mandel podcast,’ I'd be like: 'What? This is just so random. You mean, the host of the game show? "The one who fist bumps you because he's afraid of germs?"

During a wide-ranging interview with Mandel's podcast "Howie Mandel Dos Stuff", Sandoval spoke out about the alleged fallout between Raquel and him, his relationship to Ariana, and where they stand today.

Sandoval claimed that he had broken up with Ariana on Valentine's Day. This was just weeks before news broke about Raquel's affair. Sandoval said that he told Ariana that he would keep the secret and not publish anything until they could "figure a way to navigate these" in a manner that "helps both of us out." Tom claimed she was "very upset" with him and "punched", before going into denial.

"She's like, "I'm not letting you go. He claimed that he would have to force him out of the relationship. "I was unsure what to do. She was in complete denial, refusing to accept it."

He stated that the day Ariana learned about Raquel, the alleged ex-partners "weren’t in a relationship,” weren’t physically with each other and "nothing” was happening.
