Schwartz expresses frustration with the situation directly to Sandoval, saying he had told Tom to be honest to Ariana prior to the affair being exposed.

Tom Schwartz was caught in the middle of the firestorm when Tom Sandoval’s affair with Raquel Levyss on "Vanderpump Rules" season finale.

As soon as it was revealed that Sandoval cheated on Ariana Madix - Tom's BFF and long-time business partner - many began to wonder what Schwartz knew.

Sandoval, who was arriving at Schwartz's apartment when we first met him, collapsed into his arms upon seeing Schwartz and burst into tears. Schwartz made a joke, calling Tom the "most reviled person in America," but Sandoval then began to apologize profusely for getting his friend into this mess.

Schwartz stated, "I'm not going to berate you right now. I just want to let you know that it's bad." Schwartz was referring to the way Ariana fans were trolling Toms businesses after the scandal. "We went down from 4.8 stars to 1 star on Yelp at Schwartz & Sandys. "We have 20 employees that depend on us."

In a "confessional", he said that it was "soul-crushing" to think that their businesses "could fall apart because of Tom’s affair". He then asked Sandoval if he would consider posting on social media a statement saying Schwartz wasn't “complicit” in anything.

Sandoval stated, "I wanted her to know. I got the vibe that she didn't want to f---ing k-now." Sandoval then revealed that, after Raquel's guy's night crashed, they went to The Abbey and kissed after taking a few shots. He said, "I felt something that I hadn't experienced in a long time in that moment." Ariana and he also "started to grow apart" after that.

"I am in a relationship that has almost no intimacy." Sandoval said, "The only time I get to relax is when I watch porno in the f---ing toilet." "I went to therapy. I don't understand what to do. "I love this person... but we are just not there."

Schwartz criticized Sandoval for failing to take one of "so many chances" he had in order to be honest with Ariana. He recalled how, just one week earlier, he said to Tom, "It is time to tell Ariana because, if you don't tell her, then you will humiliate her."

Sandoval explained that he did not do it as he wanted to be "on the same page" as Raquel. He then said that "Ariana didn't ask" if there was anything going on. He even went so far as saying Madix should have walked with him to make sure he actually was going to Schwartz's.

Schwartz replied, "You don’t want to place that responsibility on her." He then went on to say how upset people were with him for "just being your friend and business partner." He ended the conversation with "I am f---ing cancelled."

He added, "I hope that you do not harbor any ill feelings towards me. This whole situation is just effed." "I'm not going to kick him when he is down, but the anxiety and backlash that I am getting because of his actions is insane. Just know that I love you and know you'll be fine.

Madix was upset by the message, which said that Sandoval had not "downed" and Schwartz could "go ahead kick him".

Katie Maloney was also annoyed by Schwartz, as she thought he had known about the affair since October 2022, thanks to a casual comment he made during Bravo Con. Schwartz commented that Raquel, who was wearing a TomTom shirt, wasn't there for him.

He said he found out about the affair a month earlier, but then denied making any comments like that at BravoCon. She didn't think Sandoval would let his "ego" allow him to watch Schwartz, "pursuing the girl with whom he has been having an affair all summer without him realizing it was not real."

Schwartz finally admitted that he was aware of the one-night stand. Tom said that Sandoval had told him Sandoval "tried" to break up with Ariana several times, and sometimes would even change his mind.
