The action-hero icon sent a heartwarming message in support of son-in law.

Arnold Schwarzenegger shared his love on Twitter for his son-in law Chris Pratt, and his new film "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3." 3."

"I saw #GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol3 last night and WOW. @prattprattpratt, you crushed it. The perfect blend of comedy and action. "I loved it and I am very, very proud," he said on Twitter.

Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt, Pratt’s wife of 2019 years, is the daughter of Schwarzenegger and Pratt.

Patrick Schwarzenegger, Katherine's older brother, also tweeted his praise for the film. "Guardians Of The Galaxy 3." I never imagined I would cry in a superhero film... but I did. It happened. I laughed so much. Great action. Epic. Fantastic film. Congrats [Pratt]."

Arnold has spoken in the past of his love for Pratt, his grandchildren and himself.

During an interview on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Last year, the 75 year old actor was beaming as he talked about his growing family. Katherine and Chris have two daughters, Lyla, 2 and Eloise who will turn 1 this month. Pratt shares a son, Jack, 10 with her ex-Anna Faris.

Schwarzenegger was giddy when Jimmy Kimmel, the host at the time, congratulated him on his second pregnancy with the couple. He replied: "It is the easiest thing in the world to be a grandparent."

"They come to the house. You play with Lyla around an hour and a half, put her on a horse, or put her with the dogs. "And after two hours they leave," he laughed as he clapped. "It's fantastic! "I have a wonderful time when they visit my house."

The actor of "Terminator", also praised his "Guardians of the Galaxy's" star, 43 years old. He called him a "fantastic man" and "a wonderful son-in law."

The same sentiments were expressed to his daughter. "I love Katherine, she is wonderful, and I am so proud of her."
