He stated that he wanted his former co-accused to be "found innocent" of the charges against him.

Ashton Kutcher, a former co-star on "That '70s show", and Danny Masterson, starred together in "The Ranch," Netflix's new series. Multiple sexual assault allegations were levelled against Masterson. Masterson was then written out of the show and subsequently dropped from the revival of "That '90s TV Show".

In 2017, an investigation was launched into the actor. He was charged with three counts each of rape and inflicting injury on women in 2020. His trial was halted by a deadlocked jury in November 2022. He will face a retrial, but he has maintained his innocence. Kutcher told Esquire throughout that he kept in touch with Masterson. He also speaks often with Masterson's brother before discussing the situation.

Kutcher said, "Someday his kid will read about this." Kutcher added, "I wholesale feel sorry for anyone who feels violated in any manner." Kutcher also stated to the publication that he wanted Masterson "to find innocent of all the charges against him," but was reluctant to give his opinion on the case.

He said, "Ultimately, it's impossible to know." "I am not the judge. I'm not the judge. I'm not the DA. I am not the victim. I am not the victim. In that case, I don’t have the space to comment. "I don't know."

Masterson was the only member of "That's '70s Show''''s main cast who didn't make it to the revival. The revival featured cameos by Topher Grace and Laura Prepon, Mila Kuis, Wilmer Valderrama and Wilmer Valderrama. It was directed by Debra Jo Rupp, Kurtwood Smith (Kitty, Red Forman).

Although the show provided updates to fans about the whereabouts their characters, Master's character Hyde was not mentioned even once.
