Ashton Kutcher Opens Up About Demi Moore Divorce, Their Miscarriage and Her Book

Ashton Kutcher Opens Up About Demi Moore Divorce, Their Miscarriage and Her Book

"I was f---ing pissed."

With her 2019 memoir, Demi Moore brought Ashton Kutcher's relationship back to the forefront. Now we get some insight into his feelings about the book's publication and how he felt during their marriage.

Demi and Ashton met in 2003, when she was 41 and he was 25. They were married in September 2005. Moore declared that Moore's marriage was over in November 2011. However, the divorce was not finalized until two more years later. Demi wrote "Inside Out" a memoir about their marriage. She also spoke out about the miscarriage she suffered and the threesomes she allegedly agreed to. This, she said, blurred the lines between their relationship.

In an interview with Esquire Kutcher, 44, reflected on his time together and said that his "life was changed" after their relationship was exposed in the press. Kutcher can now admit that he did not help the situation by tweeting about headlines, saying to Esquire, "It is stupid to complain about something you're contributing to."

He said that he was 26 years old and had to take on the responsibility of an eighteen-year-old girl, a ten year-old girl, and a twelve year-old. "That's how many teen parents experience their twenties."

Moore wrote in her book that she had miscarried six-months into her marriage to Kutcher. She said she was devastated by the news. The couple got married despite the miscarriage.

Kutcher stated, "Losing a child you thought you would have, or that is close to believing you will have a child, can be really, really difficult." "Everyone deals differently with that."

He said, "I love children." "I would not have married a woman who had three children if I didn’t love them." It would have been amazing to have another child. It was a must-have experience for me, no matter what the reason.

Kutcher told Esquire that divorce is the only thing that makes you feel like you're failing. Kutcher said that divorce feels like a complete failure. He said that he failed marriage, but also stated to the publication that he still has a relationship with Moore’s daughters.

He said, "You have to own the shit that you did wrong, then you move forward," before admitting that he was "f---ing pissed" at Moore's memoir making headlines once again. "I had finally reached a place where the media had really laid off me, Mila, my life and my loved ones. The paparazzi were at my children's school the next day," he said, before stopping and saying, "I don’t want to open up anything in that realm."

After meeting Mila Kunis in 2015, he began to date her. She told Esquire that he had been "an asshole for two years before getting his life together." They had a daughter together in 2015, and they married in the following year. In 2016, they had a son.

Meanwhile, Mila and Demi teamed up for an AT&T commercial in 2022. This signaled that all was well between them.
