Fans called the moment peak Aubrey Plaza, as she and her White Lotus castmates won Sunday's 2023 SAG Award in Drama Series for Best Ensemble in a Drama Series.
Aubrey Plaza made a career of making awkward moments on camera. That talent was recognized at Sunday's 29th Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Plaza and her "White Lotus 2" castmates won the 2023 SAG Award as Best Ensemble in Drama Series, but it was Plaza's "Parks and Recreation” alumnae facial expressions that got the internet talking.
It was the last TV award of the evening and the cast reunited to accept the award. F. Murray Abraham, an industry veteran, delivered the acceptance speech.
You can watch the entire speech below.
Aubrey was able to find a spot among her costars Meghann Faughy, Theo James, and Will Sharpe. Jon Gries, a fellow star of "White Lotus", could be seen whispering something into Aubrey's ear. The actress was able to adjust her dress after the conversation, prompting many to speculate that Gries was warning her about a possible wardrobe problem.
Abraham then sent "a prayer to the earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey" and "a prayer for peace and security in Ukraine and Russia", followed by the rallying cry, "Union forever!" Aubrey's eyes darted about, which got the crowd cheering. No matter what Aubrey was thinking or feeling, her expressions captured the attention of all viewers.
The cast hugged and congratulated each other, while Aubrey stole the spotlight once again when she apparently uttered "Jesus Christ!" in frustration.

Home viewers thought the moment was caused by Meghann Fahy's overexcited embrace with Michael Imperioli, which resulted a clumsy elbow that narrowly missed Aubrey in the face.
Fans were in frenzy on Twitter as she shared a series of awkward moments. Some wondered what she was upset about, while others noted how the actress's scene-stealing personality is so unique.
Aubrey was also on stage earlier in the show with Jenna Ortega, the breakout star of "Wednesday", where they displayed incredible -- and very dark -- chemistry.
They were there to present an award for outstanding performance of a male actor in a TV movie or limited series.
Aubrey deadpanned after about 10 seconds of silence.
Ortega responded, "I know we have nothing in common."
The "Emily the Criminal” star stated, "We should locate the people who did that."
The duo recited unison: "And curse the families of their children and watch as misfortune follow their bloodline for seven generations."
Aubrey stated, "Okay, it's there now."
