She says, "Now that it all comes up again, I feel sick." The clip also features footage of her sons talking about her famous love life.
Pamela Anderson has taken control of "the narrative for the first-time" in her Netflix documentary "Pamela: A love story."
The streamer will release the project later in the month. It is described as an intimate and humanizing portrait about one of the most well-known blonde bombshells of the world. It follows her "life and career, from small town girl, to international sex symbol and actress, activist, and loving mother."
Anderson, 55 years old, is seen without makeup during most interviews in the trailer. She also appears to react to Hulu's "Pam & Tommy” series, which chronicled the fallout from her leaked sex tape.
"I didn’t sleep last night at any time. To survive, I had to keep that stolen tape from my life. It's all coming back to me again. I feel sick," she said in the footage. She didn't directly mention why the tape was being republished. "I want to control the narrative for the very first time."
She opens up throughout the rest of this teaser about her experiences as a sex icon of the '90s due to her spreads in Playboy, and her work on shows such as "Baywatch."
"I didn’t feel that I was worthy of much respect." She explained that I had to make a living out of what was left. "But I'm no damsel in distress."
"I have survived in extreme situations." She adds that she doesn't care about what other people think, because it was the only option I had. "If I were to care about what other people think, I wouldn’t be here."
The footage also features her two children, Dylan Jagger Lee Lee and Brandon Thomas Lee. Brandon refers to his mother's notorious love life.
"Maybe falling in love is her favorite thing in the world. He says he loves the idea of falling in love.
FYI: Brandon is also the executive producer for this project.
Ryan White, the director of People, said Anderson was open to discussion.
He said, "She said to me, "Ask me any question -- there is no limit." She didn't even play any part in the editing. She doesn't want to see the final film. For her, it's all about making something and staying there.
"Pamela: A Love Story" will be released January 31, 2023.
