Chastain eliminated one former co-star after fans began posting their guesses as to the paternity of the child.

Kate Chastain’s baby boy Sullivan Cay is just days old, but he’s already the topic of online gossip.

The comments began to flood after the "Below Deck' star announced last Friday that her child was born and shared a photo of it ( on the left ). Many people speculated about who the father of the baby might be. Although Chastain did not name the father publicly, many of her fans believed that Ben Robinson - who appeared on "Below Deck", was the baby's dad.

One follower wrote, "He looks just like Ben the chef," before another said, "There's no way in the world I could be convinced that this isn't Ben’s child."

One fan joked that Sullivan is "10000% Bens Kid" while another said Sullivan is "Bens Buttons".

Chastain was clearly aware of the comment and responded in a Monday tweet. She shared a picture of her son (above) and added, "For the record this handsome guy shares with any chef the tendency to become emotional at mealtimes."

Ben shared a picture of a pregnant Kate on his Instagram page in the last month. He joked at the time: "Who knew Kate Chastain would and I be the same size one day?"

Please wish my dear friend @kate_chastain a safe delivery and a beautiful, healthy baby! "I am so proud of you and the mother that you will be soon," he said, adding a heart-shaped emoji.

There are many comments that speculate that he is the father.

There is a history between Chastain, Robinson and "Below Deck" between the 2nd and 3rd seasons. Robinson confirmed this in 2019.

Chastain, 40 years old, was a Bravo reality star in its second season, 2014. She endured some very demanding guests and stayed with the show until 2020 when she left after six seasons.

She told TooFab in January that she had always wanted to be a mother.

"I expect it to be a lot work, I hear that." "I'm ready for it," she said. "But, I've been on 'Below Deck" for so many years. It's a lot work. All my years of working on yachts and being a chef stew have made me feel like... I am ready. I know that some of my guests are drunk and others of my crew look like toddlers. I'm ready!"
