The police suspected foul play was involved in the death of a 22-year old skater whose body had been found next to her "vehicle in flames."

The boyfriend of Beauty Couch (a 22-year old social media star found dead last week in Georgia) has been arrested.

Eugene Louis-Jocques (21), was arrested in Louisiana on Friday after being named as a possible suspect by the U.S. The Marshal's Task Force identified him as a suspect in the murder of his girlfriend. A press release issued by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office stated that Louis-Jocques "was wanted for charges of murder and arson in connection with his girlfriend's death."

The Sheriff's Office said that detectives from the STPSO Proactive Enforcement Unit had identified several areas in the Slidell area where Louis-Jocques may have been frequenting. Detectives conducting surveillance in these areas observed Louis-Jocques on Oak Harbor Boulevard, near Landmark Drive. This was at approximately 4:40 pm Friday.

After a traffic stop he was arrested "without incident" and awaits extradition to Georgia.

Sheriff Randy Smith said, "We do not tolerate people who try to commit crimes elsewhere and then hide in St. Tammany Parish." "We were pleased to assist our Georgian counterparts by finding this suspect and bringing him to justice so that Miss Couch's parents can receive some closure in this difficult time."

Beauty Couch's body was discovered last Wednesday by authorities who responded to a brushfire. On arrival, authorities found a car "fully engulfed by flames."

Austell Police officers learned that the adopted daughter of the owner "most often drove the vehicle," but Beauty hadn't seen her since the morning before. Police searched the area once more and discovered Couch's dead body.

In a Facebook post on Thursday night, the Cobb County Police Department stated that "based on the initial investigation of the scene, foul play is suspect". Her death was not immediately confirmed.

Alex Hayes, Austell PD said, "if the vehicle wasn't burned, it could have been years before it's found." He told WSB TV they might not have found the body if they hadn't returned to the area in search of more clues.

Couch's biological mom also told the same outlet, "She was sweet and she never annoyed anyone." "She never annoyed anybody. She was everyone's friend. She loved going skating. She loved to go to work. She loved wearing her clothes. She liked wearing her hair in a pretty style.

They took away a piece of my life. She added, "They took a piece of my heart." "I want to see them pay for what they've done to my baby."

Beauty Katera Couch, also known online as Beauty Couch, has more than 151,000 Instagram followers, with whom she frequently shares videos of her skating skills. She began teaching skating lessons earlier this summer.

Since the news of Couch's death, there have been many condolences posted in her most recent Facebook post.

"Such a beautiful spirit gone too soon." "I want justice for her. Sad that people can hate this much!" One comment was read. Many commented on her love for skating. Some of the comments included "Roll in Peace" and "Go give Heaven the best show they've never seen."
