Bradley Cooper and Irina are no longer a couple, but they still have plenty to discuss.

They were photographed inside the Met Gala, having a candid conversation, despite walking the red carpet individually.

The Met Gala, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, is the most important fashion event of the year. Cooper wore a black classic tuxedo with aviator shades. Shayk was dressed in a white silk gown with a bright red lip.

The two separated in 2019, but they have clearly remained close, as they share parenting duties with their daughter Lea De Seine. The couple who started dating in 2015 still go on family vacations, and they seem to be able to run in the same social circles.

Elle spoke with Shayk in 2021 about her parenting relationship with Cooper, and how she kept it a secret.

She said, "I've never understood co-parenting." When I am with my daughter I am 100 percent a mom, and when she is with her father, he is 100 percent her dad. "Co-parenting is the same as parenting."

Shayk stated that she is reluctant to speak publicly about Cooper, citing her desire to keep the relationship private.

She told the magazine that her past relationship was something she owned and kept private. It's a part of me that I'm not willing to share.

This year's Costume Institute exhibit is dedicated to late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. The theme of the exhibition will be "Karl Lagerfeld - A Line of Beauty". Dress code for the exhibition was both an easy prompt and a challenging challenge, as guests were asked to dress "in honor" of Karl.

Lagerfeld designed for Patou as well as Balmain, Chloe Fendi and Chanel.

Penelope Cruz was co-chair for this year's star-studded event, along with Michaela Coel and Roger Federer. Dua Lipa and Vogue's Anna Wintour also served as co-chairs. Wintour has been overseeing the Met Gala ever since 1995.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City will be hosting the exhibition from May 5 through July 16.
