Tina Hicks was facing two warrants for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Authorities in Kentucky have praised a Kentucky child for helping to track down a criminal.
The Whitley County Sheriff's Department released a press release over the weekend about Tina Hicks, 45, of Williamsburg, KY -- as well as the unlikely person who assisted them in making an arrest.
Cops say that deputies from both local and state police attempted to serve Hicks on multiple outstanding warrants but "no adult relative was willing to report whether the fugitive is inside the house."
However, a juvenile arrived at the address.
"A brave and honest toddler stood up and put his hands on his hips and said, "It is good to be truthful...we shouldn't lie, she's in the bathroom next to the toilet!" Authorities found Hicks hiding in the exact spot that Hicks described. Police added that "Deputy Patrick complimented the toddler for being honest and his service to the community."
Hicks was served with two warrants for Hicks' possession of meth, drug paraphernalia and four other unspecified outstanding warrants from the district court.
The Sheriff's department clarified their original post after some concern was raised about the child.
"The child was visiting his family. They wrote that he was intelligent and healthy. He was at the wrong time and wrong place. It would have been handled if deputies believed he was a victim of repercussions.
Hicks was among 14 people wanted in a multi-agency operation last week in Whitney County.
