Brian Austin Green opens up about health issues that he has battled for years.

Green, who appeared on Cheryl Burke’s Spray Tans, Likes, and Sex Podcast, discussed how changing his eating habits helped him overcome stroke-like symptoms.

Green began the conversation by revealing that he and his fiancee Sharna Burgess were both working hard to become better versions of themselves when they met.

She had worked hard on improving herself. Green said of his partner that she had been "single for almost five year" and added that he too was "aggressively going to therapy."

Green revealed that he was bedridden for several months due to ulcerative colitis, vertigo and other symptoms.

After the vertigo started, I experienced these neurological problems for four and a quarter years. Green recalled that he shuffled as if he was 90 years old.

"I couldn't speak. "I couldn't speak. "I couldn't read," said the actor.

Burke asked Green whether his illness had anything to do with an accident in which he, along with ex Megan Fox, were involved. Green denied this.

Green revealed that "the press has got it all wrong."

He continued to say that Western medicine had not been able to diagnose his condition. "I was diagnosed as having internal inflammation due gluten and dairy."

Green said that doctors at Cedars-Sinai, including top neurologists, couldn't diagnose his problem.

He also said that reading to his kids became difficult.
