Britney's mother in law is "doing well" after being hospitalized this week.

Spears' husband Sam Asgharithanked the hospital staff on his Instagram Story.

Asghari wrote, "My mother was involved today in a major car accident." "With the help of some friends and the medical staff, she is doing fine."

The 29-year old star added that she was "resting off."

He did not reveal any further details about the hospitalization of his mother.

Sam celebrated his first anniversary of marriage with Spears on Instagram.

Asghari wrote, "Happy one year to me and my better half." "One year of marriage to the woman I dreamed about." "Happy anniversary, my love."

Britney and Sam exchanged vows at their Thousand Oaks home, on Thursday, 9 June 2022.

Britney's family was MIA. The entire family was absent, including her sons, Jayden James, 15, and Sean Preston, 16, with Kevin Federline. Also missing were her parents Lynne and Jamie and her younger sister Jamie Lynn. Federline's lawyer told TMZ, that while Spears' sons chose not to attend, Federline and his boys "wish Britney and Sam the best in the future."

Drew Barrymore was there, along with Madonna, Selena Gomez Maria Menounos Ansel Elgort will.i.am Paris Hilton and her mother Kathy. Donatella Versace designed Britney's and Sam’s wedding look.
