Britney Spears Says Alyssa Milano Tweet 'Feels Like a Form of Bullying'

Britney Spears Says Alyssa Milano Tweet 'Feels Like a Form of Bullying'

"Please check Britney Spears," wrote Charmed's star.

Britney Spears has something to say about Alyssa Milano.

After Spears posted a tweet on Tuesday in which she expressed concern about her well-being, the pop star called the actress.

Milano, 50, tweeted "Please check Britney Spears," in December.

Spears, 41, shared a screenshot from Milano's tweet via her Instagram Stories Tuesday. The post was not only a slam on the "Charmed” star, but also included a description of Milano's tweet as "a form bullying."

"It's saddening to see what people think about me !!!" Spears wrote. "This certainly feels like bullying!" !

She said, "Ladies, it is important to root for each other and not pull one another down !!!"

This is just days after Spears activated her Instagram account again after it was taken down. Her fans then called the police at her home for a wellness check.

Spears was clearly frustrated by the reaction and took to Twitter to explain why she had taken down the social media site in the first instance, as well as what she thinks about her fans calling for her arrest.

"I shut down Instagram because too many people said I looked like an idiot dancing, and that I looked crazy," wrote the "Toxic” singer in a long thread of tweets. These tweets appear to have been deleted.

She stated that it was "disturbing" to see the news media pick up the story and added, "Yep, it hurt my feelings." I'm sensitive."

Spears said she was shocked by the reaction of some fans to her taking down her Instagram account. They called the police to come to her home for a wellness check. Spears isn't the only celeb to have deleted her IG account.

According to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, they received calls about Spears at 11 p.m. on Tuesday and continued following up "out of an abundance of caution." They concluded that there was no cause for concern.

Spears stated that fans calling the police was "uncalled for". "I love my fans, but those who do that aren’t real fans and it honestly felt like it were a way to make myself look bad !!!"

The "Womanizer", singer, shared a story about a confrontation with drunken girls at a local restaurant. She said that they "got right in my faces" and that she stood by herself and asked them to "please get out of my way."

Spears ended her message by saying, "With that being said, please know I'm trying my best." "I am alive, fine, and healthy. I'm ready to start a fresh day - a brand new day! God bless my true fans !!!"

Spears addressed the call previously in an Instagram Stories post, which was captured by TMZ. She stated that she felt her privacy had been invaded by her fans calling the police.

She stated that the incident made her feel "gaslit, bullied" after it made it into the news. The incident was then portrayed in an unfair and poor light by the media.
