Both the wife and ex-spouse of Die Hard's star shared heartfelt Instagram tributes to Father's Day

The mothers of Bruce Willis' five daughters celebrated Father's Day with him.

Bruce's former wife, Demi Moor and his wife Emma Heming, paid a touching tribute to him on Sunday.

Heming's Instagram post began, "Father's Day allows me to reflect on the deep respect and appreciation I feel for Bruce, as I watch him raise our children," she wrote, along with a picture of her husband holding their daughter Mable. They also have another daughter Evelyn.

What he teaches them will last generations. Love, kindness, courage, compassion, generosity, patience and resilience are all qualities that he teaches.

She concluded, "Happy Father's Day! To the best dad I know who will always be the gift of giving in our family,"

Demi shared an old photo of Bruce and their three daughters, Rumer Scout, and Talulah. She wrote: "Forever thankful to you BW, for giving me three beautiful girls. We love our #girldad. "Happy Father's Day!"

Bruce and Demi split up in 2000 after 13 years of marriage. The Last Boy Scout actor married Hemming in 2009

Both his daughters Scout and Rumer shared tributes on Instagram.

The sight of my father holding my daughter was a moment I will cherish for the rest my life. Rumer, a new mom, wrote that "His sweetness and love for his daughter was pure and beautiful." "Papa, I am so fortunate to have you. And so is Lou. You are the coolest, silliest and most loving Daddio that a girl can ask for. Best girl dad in the game ...."

Scout said: "Sending this blessing of love to everyone today." I am so fortunate to have known the tenderness, admiration, and respect that he shares for his family. I am so fortunate that this amazing, vibrant man is my dad. I love you all with my whole heart and am thinking of anyone who has had a difficult day. "What patience, compassion, and presence we can learn from the most difficult challenges of our lives."

These tributes are especially poignant because they come at a difficult time for the blended families.

Willis' family revealed last year that he was fighting a degenerative disease of the brain.

The Hollywood star's family announced in February 2023, that the condition he was diagnosed with had changed to frontotemporal degeneration. They called it a "cruel illness" without any treatment.
