Charlie: "I don't believe I've ever tried vodka before."

Charlie Puth shares his version of events when it comes to the makeout session between Meghan Trainer in the recording studio.

Trainor revealed on "Watch what Happens Live with Andy Cohen" last month that she had a fling with her "Marvin Gaye' collaborator in the studio.

Puth does not deny her story, either. She told Interview Magazine that it "definitely happened."

"I'm not going to deny that it happened. I had just moved from L.A. Puth confirmed that it happened once in 2015.

He added that he had never drunk vodka before, and attributed the makeout to it.

Puth said that his life was turned upside-down when he first moved to Hollywood, at the start of his career. His collaboration with Trainor only added to this.

"I was in this fancy studio and I had no idea what a runner is. They asked, "What do you want?" "Oh, I will just call, and I will pick up a Pizza for myself." They said, "No, we will get it for you." "I felt like I was at the top of my game," said Puth. "I was down if Meghan kissed me."

Puth was full of love for Trainor and her new song, "Mother."

Puth praised her for being "so good at melody and songwriting." "That's likely why we got on." "We're still good friends today."

In 2015, Trainor performed "Marvin Gaye" with Charlie at the AMAs. The duet partners kissed passionately for 15 seconds to mark the end their performance. Many fans believed that the two were in a relationship because of this stunt.

Charlie revealed to Us Weekly a few days later that the two had no romantic relationship. "We're best friends!" He said. "I can relate to that person and I always ask her for advice." "We're great friends, and that won't change."

In the same year, Puth revealed that she spit on Trainor's face while they were filming a music video of the same song. She also said that Trainor was a very good kisser.
