Cher opens up about her feelings for younger men amid the 76 year-old legend's affair with Alexander "AE" Edwards, 36.

The singer shared some details about her new romance on Friday's "The Kelly Clarkson Show". She admitted that it was "kind of ridiculous" on paper.

"But in real life we get along great. She said, "He's amazing and I don’t give men qualities they don’t deserve," before listing her favorite things about him. He's kind, smart, talented, funny, and handsome.

Cher recently shared that she met AE at Paris Fashion Week. They were spotted together in Los Angeles in November.

Edwards is not the only younger man that "Burlesque' star has dated during her long career. Clarkson was asked why Edwards believes older men are intimidated by her.

She shared that she had never met younger men and would not have gone on a date with them if she hadn't. "Older men don't like me as much as I do," she said. "I've had a few boyfriends who were around my age but didn't like me."

"Maybe younger men don’t care if your personality is funny or outrageous, and they’re not interested in you being silly." She continued, "I’m not giving up my personality to anyone."

Cher had previously reacted to criticisms about the relationship via Twitter after sharing a photo of AE on her page last month. One fan wrote to Cher, expressing concern that they were "immediately suspect of his intentions toward you" and asking for help.

She replied in typical Cher Twitter-speak, "As we all know...I WASNT BORNE YESTERDAY" There are no guarantees. Every choice you make is a chance. I've Always Taken Chances...It's WHO I Am."

She also shared a photo last week of AE in underwear to Twitter, captioning it "A.E.Hanging Ot."

One fan called him handsome, and he said that they were happy to see her happy. She replied, "I DON'T GIVE MEN QUALITIES THAT THEY DONT HAVE. IT IS A RECIPE 4 DISASTER. HES 'NOT HIS HAIR, HAIR COLOR AND DIMOND GRILL. I [heart] him BECAUSE HIM WASNT AFRAID."

She added, "HES KIND. HILARIOUS. SMART. TALENTED. BEAUTIFUL." "WE LAUGH & TALK. WE ARE PERFECTLY matched. Do I WISH I WERE YOUNGER? YAH, I'M BOO FKN HOO!
