Just in time for Halloween, a creepy clown who is known to terrorize residents of a Scottish village sent a bizarre message to local media and police.
The man, who has terrorized the residents of Skelmorlie, since 2021, posted a spooky video on Facebook this week. He taunted the local police for not catching him and criticized the media's coverage of the reign of terror he is waging in the town.

The video was posted on the Facebook profile of Cole Deimos. In it, the clown who called himself "Skelmorlie Clown", and dressed as Pennywise, from the Itfranchise creepily walked down the street at night, holding a balloon.
The clown's message, which rhymed, was delivered in a voiceover. He addressed stories that were written about him and also dared police to locate him.
The police have been notified. Do you believe that I am concerned? He said. "They would have to catch them first, and yes, it's a challenge."
The clown referred to two journalists in particular: Daily Record reporters Stian Alexander, and Sarah Vesty who had written an article entitled, "Killer Clown' stalking a sleepy Scots Village leaving residents terrified."
He said, "So Stian, and Sarah don't trust what you are told." "This clown does not want fame, glory or gold."
The clown continued, "He only wants to play here in this so called'sleepy city'." Come and join us and learn to be afraid of the Skelmorlie clown."
Above, Daily Mail has posted a video.
According to the Daily Record the Skelmorlie Clown has left red balloons all over the small town with a population of about 2,000.
Cole Demos, a clown from Michigan, posted on his Facebook page that he is "self-employed", studied at the "Clown School", attended "Hellgate High School", and was born in "Hell".
Pennywise, the Clown's character in Stephen King's horror novel It from 1986 is the inspiration for his clown costume. The book has been adapted many times. The first was the 1990 miniseries, starring Tim Curry in the role of Pennywise. The most recent film adaptations are It(2017), and Chapter Two(2019). Bill Skarsgard played Pennywise in the Andy Muschietti directed movies.
