The teenager got too emotional to send a message his sisters and brothers.

Collin Gosselin revealed in a new interview that he went from being close to all seven siblings to only speaking with one of them.

After the separation of 18-year-old Jon Gosselin from nearly all of his siblings and their mother Kate Gosselin, the former "Jon & Kate Plus 8” star spoke out about his current relationships with his sisters and brothers. Jon and Kate have Colin as one of their sextuplets. The other siblings are Alexis, Hannah Joel, Joel, and Leah. Ex-couple also have older twins Cara (22), and Madelyn (22).

Since 2016, Collin has lived with his dad since he left a special needs program for behavioral problems his mother sent him. Since 2017, Hannah has lived with Jon.

Collin said that he has not spoken to his siblings for at least five or six years. "It's tough."

He said, "I would love to have dinner with you one day, and talk to you, and catch up on what we have lost and the times that we have lost."

He said that he wanted to respect their time and space, and how they feel about everything. "I don’t want to reach out. I don't want intrude on their space. I would rather let them decide what they want."

According to the teen, they used to be so close. She still loves them all and hopes that they can find a way forward together while keeping their parents out of the loop.

"I would put my parents aside, and I have. It's me and my brothers and sisters in my eyes. He cried, becoming choked up. "I love them very deeply. My view is that without their parents, it's just them and me. "I really hope that when I have children, my children will be able to recognize their aunts and uncles."

Collin stated that he would do anything for Hannah, his sister. Although they don't talk as often as before -- Hannah is presumably at college as an undergraduate -- Collin called Hannah "a huge part of my emotional support" and said she "still does so many things for me."

ET interviewed Collin about his relationship with Kate, and he shared his thoughts with ET.
