Collin Gosselin and Hannah Gosselin who grew up watching Jon & Kate Plus 8 share their stories in a VICE documentary exploring the Dark Side 2000s.

Two of Jon's Kate Gosselin's children have spoken out about their experiences living with their mother after their parents separated.

Collin and Hannah Gosselin, stars of Jon & Kate plus 8, appear in a promo clip for VICE's upcoming Dark side of the 2000sin that they paint a not-so-flattering picture of living under mom Kate's house while she and Jon got a divorce.

Collin, now 19 years old, said, "I am not going to say that I was the perfect child. But I would say that my misbehaving wasn't any different than my siblings."

"I knew my mother had to deal with a lot." "I mean, divorces and other things can be difficult to deal with," he said. "And you know, I'd like to think she needed someone on whom to vent her frustration and anger, and that was me. I was both in her way and there. "She chose me."

Hannah, his sister, is also 19 and appears in the video.

She said that Collin would not be able to play outside with her. "He would have dinner at a different time than we did." I don't believe that any effort was made at home to teach him what behavior was acceptable and what behavior wasn't acceptable."

Collin, then 12, was sent to a learning facility by his mother in 2016 because she said he needed "special care". He has, in recent years, pushed back on some of the claims she made. "I don’t see these things and I do not think anyone else sees them, but if she is seeing me that way, then that's what she's looking at and I hope she will understand if we meet again one day."

Collin, the oldest of eight children from the former couple, moved into his father's home in 2018 after Jon was granted sole custody. Hannah was the other child who moved in. The four other sextuplets - Aaden Joel Alexis Leah - lived with their mother. Cara and Madelyn, twins aged 22 years old, graduated from college in this year.

Hannah and Collin have just graduated high school. Kate was reportedly invited to the ceremony by Hannah. Jon said that it was the only graduation he'd ever attended for his children.

told People, "I attended eight graduations in the past year." "I attended only one. Hannah [Gosselin] & Collin [Gosselin] are the only two kids I talk to and see. "I've pretty much been estranged from Mady (Gosselin) and Cara [Gosselin] since nine years."

"At the beginning, it was difficult," he said. "But, now, it's, like, you just hope for the worst, but don't dwell, do you understand?"

Gosselin added, "Maybe in the future we will develop a relationship. But yeah." "I don't want to put all my eggs into one basket and be disappointed later."

Dark Side of 2000s Premieres on VICE TV July 18.
