Orange Is The New Blackstar Dascha Polanco celebrates becoming a grandmother!

The 40-year-old actress shared a photo of her daughter Dasany Kristal Gonzales, whom she had when she was 17 years old, on Instagram.

Dascha, wearing a beautiful blue dress, leaned down and posed next to Dasany’s growing tummy.

Dascha captioned, "I got a new promotion."

Dasany posted photos of her celebration as well. The carousel has posts showing the adorable three-tier cake, and the decor.

She captioned the post: "We love you already to the moon.. countdown until your arrival baby boy."

Polanco has previously spoken about her experience as a young mother in Parents Latina, where she discussed the judgment she received.

"My best friend's dad said to me one night, 'What are you doing is terrible,' and embarrassed me before everyone. Polanco said, "I'll never forget this." But I was making the right decision. I knew having a child would make my life more difficult, but I also wanted to turn it into a blessing.

She revealed that while in college, she would not tell anyone that she had a child.

"I would let them know, and then when they said, 'You are a mother?!' Dascha continued, "I pretended that I didn't mind." "But I felt self-conscious, and it affected my confidence."

Polanco has also had a son named Aryam. She gave birth to him when she was only 25 years old.
