"I didn't handle it well."
Denise Richards still has nightmares from the terrifying shooting incident on the road.
The 51-year old spoke out about an incident that occurred last year while driving to work from Los Angeles on the highway.
Richards and Aaron Phypers were shocked when a bullet struck their truck. The shooter continued following the couple until they pulled over.
It wasn't like we were cut off. She recalled that the guy suddenly followed us. Aaron tried to get away from him, but he was aggressive and pulled over.
Richards stated that Richards rolled his windows down to confront the shooter. "I'm trying to get my wife to work.
Although her husband was cool, the actress claimed that she started screaming like a lunatic. It was difficult for me to handle. I literally fell to the ground and almost peed my pants."
Richards attempted to get out of the car and run, but her husband stopped her from doing so. He said, "If you run out this truck, you're going to be shot."
She was scared for her and Phyper's safety. She pleaded with the window: "Please, I don’t know what happened, but he’s trying to get me to work." The man then looked at her and rolled up his window before driving off.
Richards believes that the shooting was not an act road rage but rather a case mistaken identity.
Richards was also asked during the interview if she would return "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" after Lisa Rinna's departure.
Although she acknowledged that Bravo had not "approached" her, she said it was a surprise that she would be open to a return.
In the chat, Denise also spoke about Lola's frightening driving experience in the middle night.
Reality star recalls receiving a call from her daughter, 17, informing her of an accident. She had escaped home and slipped into a car.
She said, "It's the worst phone call as a parent," "The car was totaled and no one was injured, thank you Lord."
Richards claims that Lola's friend was driving the car at the time they crashed. She said, "You want them to scream at you but you're like thank god no one got hurt," explaining that Lola was driving on a canyon and that one small thing could have sent them over the edge.
Denise stated that the police officers were "so wonderful because they told us there was a car accident almost every weekend and that a lot of children don't survive it so it scared her out of her."
