Parton's first record this year was the number of decades on the US Hot Country Songs charts by a woman with seven hits and the number of Number One hits by a woman with 25 hits. This feat is remarkable and serves as a reminder of how iconic Parton has been in the entertainment and music worlds.

We must not forget that a woman who owns her amusement park is not to be questioned. She broke the remaining record by herself, which was the record for the most hits on the US Hot Country Songs Chart by a female artist, with 109 hits.

Parton had previously held the record for most decades with a Top 20 US Hot Country Songs chart hit at six in 2018. When you raise the bar repeatedly, you know you're an icon. This is exactly what Parton has done for 50 years.
