Dolly Parton seems to be more relevant each year. The famed country singer has been around longer than others. She will host Miley’s New Years Eve Party with her goddaughter Miley.

It's not surprising that she is familiar with Mick Jagger. However, it was amazing to see her throwback photo of the Rolling Stones singer.

Dolly Parton is not short of amazing throwback photos. Parton has been in music since 1964 so it would be difficult to find someone she doesn’tknow.

Even so, we are still thinking about her throwback shot with Mick Jagger. It's amazing how one photo can contain such star power.

This photo was probably taken at New York City's Bottom Line venue. Rolling Stone states that Parton performed in the venue in May 1977 before a crowd that included Bruce Springsteen and Mick Jagger.

According to the publication, the Rolling Stones singer was charmed and struck up a unlikely friendship with the southern belle.

Parton reveals that she's still starstruck by Jagger

Dolly Parton revealed recently that she is attempting to retrace Jagger's footsteps for her next project. "I don't know if you've heard but I'm making rock albums. The singer stated to People that if I'm going to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame I'm going gonna get it.

She also mentioned that she has been speaking to many rock legends and that, despite her fame, she still feels starstruck. According to her, Jagger was the last time she felt starstruck.

"I am currently working on a rock record and have been speaking to Elton John and Mick Jagger. It's such a thrill to talk to them every time," she insists.

Parton's new album will be a love letter to Carl Dean, her husband of 56-years. She told E! that she was going to perform a lot of her husband's favorite songs. "He loves Mick Jagger, he loves 'Satisfaction'--those kind of songs. Elton John is my dream. "I'd like to see a lot more of the great classic artists sing some of my favorite songs."

Dolly Parton is the only person who can get all these great voices on one record.
