Many viewers were puzzled as to why the thieves took her phone.

Dorit Kemsley's terrifying robbery was a topic of discussion during Part 1 of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," where she replied to fans who believed that the entire ordeal was an "insurance scam" perpetrated by her husband, PK.

She first recalled how she was robbed and held at gunpoint of almost $1 million worth of valuables in October 2021 while PK was in London. Surveillance cameras captured the suspects and her children were asleep in their beds at home when it happened. She begged them to not steal her phone during the incident. One of the men agreed to leave her phone outside her front gate.

Responding to "naysayers", Dorit asked, "Who leaves a phone near the gate so that you can call police?" Andy Cohen, reunion host, asked Dorit about the theories PK had.

"Andy, it's difficult for me to get out of bed every morning. She said that she was not paying much attention to the talk, calling it "disgusting".

She continued, "This isn’t something you can control." "I am very fortunate to have survived what I went through. Very, very fortunate. It's something I never forget.

Cohen asked Dorit why she believed they had agreed to leave the phone at home.

"I was calm and showed them the location of everything. I asked her to please call my husband. Please leave my phone. She replied. He said, "I'll leave that at the gate," and he did.

She simply replied that there are no leads and it was still being investigated. She also stated that she has been diagnosed with PTSD.

Kyle Richards said that someone in her family had heard from the man who robbed her in 2017. She claimed they spoke to her saying that he had "our things", and that she'd also "sent some money" to him before he became afraid they would call the police. Erika Jayne was surprised that they paid anything to him.

"Why would you give him a dime?" He is a f---ing criminal. She called it a shakedown, and she closed the conversation.
