Josh Duggar was found guilty of two counts of child pornography receiving and possessing. The rest of the Duggar families are now speaking out about Josh's trial.

Family members open up about the trial

Derek Dillard and Jill (Duggar), Josh's younger sibling, were present at parts of the trial. Dillard was there when the verdict was read. Dillard explained to reporters why he was there with his wife. He said that they wanted to see the facts for themselves. America is the best country to find justice.

Dillard also took to Twitter to comment publicly on the situation. He tweeted, "Praying for justice today." Jill's cousin Amy Duggar King replied, "Praying also." Lord, may justice be served ice-cold." King also tweeted that day, "JUSTICE for the Children."

Josh's Crimes

Josh, who was a star on TLC's reality show 19 Children And Counting, was arrested earlier in the year for multiple charges of possessing child pornography. He was accused of downloading files from the computer at his former workplace, an Arkansas used car lot.

Josh was previously accused of molestation of several teenage girls, including his sisters Jill (and Jessa) when he was 14. It was revealed that Josh had an account on a website for cheating spouses in 2015. Josh made a statement, claiming that he was addicted to pornography and that he was unfaithful towards Anna. Josh could face up to 20 years imprisonment and up to $250,000 fines following the guilty verdict. He will be sentenced within four months.

Duggar Parents: 'We Place Our Trust In God'

After the verdict was announced, Josh's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, posted a statement on their website saying that "This whole ordeal has been very painful." Today, God's grace has provided us with strength through the prayers and love of many. We are praying for anyone who has been harmed by CSAM [childsexual abuse material].

The statement said that "In the days to come, we will do everything we can to surround our daughter in law Anna and their children [with love and support]". As parents, we will continue to pray for Joshua and love him as much as we love all our children. We trust God in all things, no matter how difficult. He is our refuge and strength. We are grateful for your prayers.
