Ed Sheeran, the latest celebrity to moonlight as a service provider.

The shape of you singer served hot dogs to fans on Saturday at the famous Chicago hot dog stand Wieners circle, a place well-known for its intentionally rude treatment of clients.

Sheeran posted a video of the occasion on Instagram, in which an employee introduced the singer, saying "We're going to have Ed Sheeran at the motherf---ker Wieners circle, and I'm going to teach that wanker to make a hot dog."

Sheeran could not help but laugh when insults were hurled at him and his crowd by fans who had pushed forward to try and get a dog served from the Think Out Loud star.

He captioned his video: "Served hotdogs at @wienerscircle, today." This Chicago restaurant is famous for insulting customers and serving hot dogs. I loved it. The singer ended the post with "See you at the stadium tomorrow x", referring to his sold out show at Soldier Field, which was reportedly the most attended concert in history with 73,000 attendees.

Sheeran's work as a food service worker is not new.

The 32-year old musician made an appearance at several local restaurants during the United States leg his Mathematics Tour. In this food event, Prince William traded his royal duties in favor of food truck responsibilities. He was seen preparing and serving vegetarian burgers from a truck that was parked in London.

Letterman also picked up a shift in a Hy-Vee store in Des Moines Iowa, swapping out a microphone for grocery bags.

Letterman stated in a posted by the supermarket chain, "I spent an extensive amount of my lifetime in a grocery shop in Indianapolis." It was the last independent grocery store, and I loved that. If I could give back to the marketing world, I'd love to, but I have limited time.
