Page says Thirlby is the first person with whom he has had a "suitably consensual" sexual relationship in his book.

Kate Mara wasn't the only actor with whom Elliot Page shared a sexual relationship before transitioning.

Pageboy, the new book by the actor, also talks about his 2007 film "Juno's" co-star Olivia Thirlby. Page would not come out until 2014 before coming out transgender by 2020. Thirlby acknowledged her bisexuality in 2011 before she married Jacques Pienaar.

"I was stunned when I first saw Olivia Thirlby. Page describes her hair as being "embodied, bold and moving in slow motion". We were both the same age but she appeared to be older, more capable and centered. Sexually open and far from where I was when she approached me. "But the chemistry was palpable and it pulled me in."

Page wrote that he was "comfortable with Thirlby" and the two became fast friends. They spent a great deal of time together working on the movie. The tension between the two allegedly escalated one day, in Olivia's room, when Thirlby said to Page, "I am really attracted" - feelings that Elliot also reciprocated.

"At this point, we began sucking our faces. It was on. Page wrote, "I had an all-encompassing need for her. She made me want to be hopeful in a new way." The pair began having sex constantly: in her hotel room, our trailers, and once, in a small, private room at a restaurant.

What were we thinking?" Page remembered that they thought they were being subtle. Being intimate with Olivia helped me dissipate my shame. "I didn't even see a hint of it in her eye and I wanted to be done feeling ashamed about who I was."

Page revealed that the two kept the relationship "hidden" with Olivia visiting her room only "maybe one time."

Thirlby is yet to confirm Page’s story; TooFab has reached her management to get a comment.

Elliot claims in the book that he also dated Mara soon after coming out.

Page said, "I fell in love with Kate Mara after my heart had been broken." Page also noted that Mara was dating "the lovely and talented Max Minghella at the time." Page claims that Max encouraged his ex-girlfriend to explore her feelings for Elliot. Mara is said to have told Page: "I never imagined I could love two people, but now I know I am."

"This was just after I came out as gay. It was a period of exploration, but also heartbreak." Page said that my relationship with Kate, or whatever name you choose to give it, embodies a dynamic I found myself in repeatedly, which is falling for people who were not fully available. Page said, "And that sort of safety and the highs and lows, the serotonin boost and then it disappears."
