In his new book, "Pageboy", the actor, who co-starred with DiCaprio on the 2010 film "Inception," also shares the reason why he felt "out of place" at the Christopher Nolan set.

Elliot Page claims he went on a double-date with Leonardo DiCaprio.

In his new book, "Pageboy," DiCaprio recalled that he, DiCaprio and his mother visited Universal Studios, along with a friend who was on the set of Page and DiCaprio’s 2010 film "Inception" at the time.

Page wrote, "During the filming of Inception, Leonardo DiCaprio had a friend visit and we shared a wonderful connection." She referred to him as Peter. "Peter's eyes were beaming from care and warmth. He was warm towards everyone." "When I saw Leo, I told him that I liked his best friend. He replied by saying his friend also liked me."

He continued, "We went to Universal Studios for our first date with Leo and Leo's mother." Peter and I sat together on the rides with our thighs touching.

The "Umbrella Academy's" star said that Martha was "overjoyed" by his romance with DiCaprio’s friend. Page had not yet publicly revealed that he was gay. However, he'd already been in relationships with women. The Oscar nominee first came out in 2014 as gay, before revealing that he was trans in 2020.

Page wrote that her affair with DiCaprio’s friend lasted only a few weeks, describing it as "a month or two, just like high school again."

In his book, "Juno's" star also opened up about his struggle to fit in with the co-stars of "Inception", saying that he developed shingles due to his anxiety.

Page wrote, "I had shivers on my spine when I was 22 years old while filming the movie 'Inception.'" In a cast of men who are cis, I didn't understand the role that I was in. I felt out-of-place, despite everyone being wonderful to work with.

He added, "I joked for the first two weeks that I would be replaced by Keira Knightly and I was right." "Shingles were able to communicate the stress I felt in my body, which my words couldn't."
