According to TMZ Presley suffered a complete cardiac arrest on Thursday at her Calabasas home. EMTs performed CPR before she regained a normal pulse.

According to the outlet, her housekeeper found her unresponsive. Danny Keough, her ex-husband, started CPR on her until paramedics arrived. She was then rushed to the hospital where she was later declared dead.

Presley is survived her three children, including twin girls Harper and Finley, 14 and the actress Riley Keough, 14, respectively, and her mother Priscilla. She also had a son Benjamin who died in 2020.

Priscilla also confirmed the sad news to TMZ in a statement: "It is with a heavy soul that I must share that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie died."

"She was the most passionate, strong, and loving woman that I ever knew. As we grieve, we ask for your privacy. We are grateful for your prayers and love. There will be no more comment at this time."

Baz Luhrmann directed "Elvis" and Hanks played Colonel Tom Parker opposite Austin Butler.

Presley, along with her mother Priscilla, just attended the Golden Globe Awards on Tuesday night. They were a big part of the promotional tour for Elvis.
