Debbie's friend shot the video and shared it on social media.

Debbie Mathers, Eminem's mother, is publicly supporting her son.

Debbie shared a video to social media with her son, Marshall Mathers (50-year-old rapper "Lose Yourself"), congratulating him on his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This was after a difficult relationship.

The short clip saw her introduce a friend. You are my best friend. You'd make it. It has been a long journey. You are very, very proud of me."

Eminem's 26 year-old daughter Hailie Jade was also highly praised by her 67-year old mother.

She continued, "And also, I'm very proud Hailie Jade. My big girl." "I just want to say Hailie, great job with your podcast. God bless you guys. You are my best friend.

Eminem has often made statements about his upbringing and relationship with his mother over the years. The rapper's 2002 song "Cleanin' Out My Closet" featured the lyrics "poppin' prescribed pills in the kitchen". He claimed that his mother led him to believe he was sick, but he wasn't.

Mathers even sued the 15 time Grammy Award-winning artist for defamation, which she won, but only $25,000 was awarded despite suing $11 million.

The "Real Slim Shady", musician, spoke about their reunion in the song "Headlights", in 2013. He apologized to the family matriarch for his part in the relationship's problems and admitted his responsibility.

Eminem shared his struggles with drug addiction during the induction ceremony. He accepted his award.

He confessed that he almost died in 2007 from an overdose. "Drugs were delicious and I thought we had a good deal going, but I had no choice but to go overboard and take too many."

Eminem said, "I had a really tough time fighting my way through men to try and breakthrough music. And I'm so honored, and I am so grateful that I can be up here doing hip hop music, man because it's so much I love it so much.
