It's a ghetto because he is Black. Before Farrah's episode aired, Cheyenne said that he would not have anything to do with the show on social media.
Farrah Abraham lit the fireworks by spending just a few minutes amongst all the stars at "Teen Mom Family Reunion".
Abraham showed up on the episode as a surprise guest and immediately began to interact with Cheyenne Floyd, Cory Wharton, and Cheyenne Floyd. This was after Wharton confronted Farrah about claiming that in the past they only had Ryder for "Teen Mom OG." Farrah called Floyd a "Teen Mum groupie" in a headline on the show.
Abraham was having small talk with the cast. Wharton approached her and asked: "So, we had a baby? That's how you feel?" She replied, "I guess so." It seems that I also feel really ghetto like that.
Floyd and Wharton were shocked to hear Farrah speak of "ghetto" during a conversation with Cory. "Ghetto? What do you mean by ghetto?" He asked her before she replied that she approached people differently. Cheyenne shouted from behind the group, "It's not ghetto, he's Black,"
She confessed, "For her to call he ghetto," before continuing shouting at Abraham. To call him ghetto just because he is Black? I can get ghetto, bitch! Let's do it. Let's call him "ghetto" because he is Black.
"Yeah Farrah's been here for a whole 60 second and she's already just crossing a line," deadpanned Maci Buchout. Farrah had previously stated that she was "beyond unhealthy behavior and I am beyond unhealthy people wanting to get on TV."
Cheyenne then flipped a table, sending Solo cups flying all around, while Abraham shouted "Kiss your ass!" in her direction. "Coast Farrah waves!" She exclaimed, "You won't treat other people that way!"
Cheyenne left the scene and began venting to Maci over what had just happened. Bookout was Team Cheyenne in this situation, declaring that fighting with Farrah was futile and adding Abraham arrived talking "ignorant, disrespectful and ugly".
Cory confessed in confession that "this has been built over the years." She wants to be able to talk about all of this online. "You have to face the smoke!"
Cheyenne said, "He didn't scream, and he didn’t yell. He addressed the issue." "The first thing she did when she saw him was to call him 'ghetto. You are ignorant as f---, and that's the one thing I won't stand for. I don’t care about her personal lives, and I don’t care what she does.
Bar Smith, the father of Ashley Jones, called out Farrah as well for slandering them on social media. Abraham claimed that he didn't even know Bar. "All I saw were younger talent talking with someone who's paved their way for them and it wasn't like Peanuts," Farrah confessed before imitating the muffled voices of off-camera adults from Charlie Brown.
Abraham began shouting at everyone within earshot.
"You have a great team coming into 'Teen Mom,' but they are so disrespectful. She shouted, "Be a super fan" of another person. "Get famous by riding on the coattails of someone else. This is so ridiculous, I don’t even need to return. As everyone else gets to ride Farrah Abraham's wave, I'm freaking out. This is disgusting. It's the worst ass shit.
Amber Portwood, of all people -- who had the most contentious relationship with Farrah of anyone there -- pulled Farrah aside and tried to talk Farrah off a ledge. Amber mentioned that there was a retreat life coach who could help Farrah work through her issues and those of the other girls. Amber said that she didn't feel like Farrah was reached. She stated, "I just wanted her to be able to go back to her bedroom and calm down."
Jade Cline stated that Farrah would have more problems if Abraham left. Leah Messer, on the other hand, said that she was not happy with Farrah's treatment of others. Amber admitted that she felt compassion for Farrah, even though she was someone who had been ganged on before. However, Amber also said she didn't get the "ghetto” comment and was surprised to learn she made it.
Amber, Maci, and Cheyenne met with Cheyenne Bryant, the show's life coach. They agreed that Cheyenne's reaction to Farrah was valid. They agreed to Abraham staying around and said they were open to speaking to her again. Bryant then met with them privately.
Farrah stated that the night before was "triggering" because of "other traumas I'm currently working through." Farrah stated that she was "just focusing on what I love right now, what is my passion right now, and I can't accept toxicity." This is not cool.
Farrah stated that she felt Cory "deliberately isolated" and "surprised" her when she approached her. She reacted negatively to this statement. She said that she was then viewed as racist, and explained what she meant by using this word. "I felt isolated, I felt like you're provoking. Like, go away. Perhaps I could have used the phrase "Are you creepy?" She said, "Get out of my face." Instead, my body was reacting to Cory -- who is just a creeper and appears -- and I was like, "Whoa, that's ghetto." It's not clear why I said it. This is how my body responded."
Bryant explained to Cheyenne that, from their perspective, "saying Ghetto to a group Black people, is something which is triggering and could be discriminatory." It's derogatory." It's derogatory." She also admitted that Farrah was also referred to in a "triggering" and "derogatory" manner by the two. Abraham stated that she did not mean to be racist. She then got emotional and said, "Normally I'm f---ing Super Woman." I could not regulate. Sometimes I'm beyond disappointed in myself."
After stating that she isn't happy in her life now, she said she was always open to talking to the girls and trying to set things straight. Maci ended the hour by sitting down one-on-one with Farrah, which was quite the cliffhanger.
Farrah will be appearing in at least one more episode next week. However, she stated on Twitter that she does not plan to return to the show in the future.
"The world is sick of hate, violence, abuse, and non-consent culture. Teen mom GOOD LUCK, or what is this "Take Advantage of Teen Moms" since it's no longer teen moms?" she tweeted Tuesday night. These people are deplorable. This ship is overboard. Future teenage mothers, WATCH OUT AND STAY STRONG!"
"I will not have any more to do with @TeenMom. She continued, "The disturbing environment doesn't belong in my future and what I see is evil and abusive, has no ethics, and is against the contract." I don't want these people in my family. Enjoy your power trip and hate pit of ignorance. Parents who lie, hate and abuse children should be avoided. I wish the Teen Moms the very best. They deserve so much more than what they have. It's evident."
She said that she knows why she is attacked in real life, and it's because of the negative denial I have experienced on @TeenMom. For the record, I am more educated than [sic] all the teen mothers PUT together on this program. I don't speak for anyone's children, and if you're not a teenager mom, GET OFF @TeenMom.
Watch the drama continue with Teen Mom Family Reunion, which airs Tuesdays on MTV.
