Cohen raged on Bill de Blasio and referred to Ryan Seacrest’s "group of losers". Kris Jenner was quizzed about rumors regarding Kim and Pete Davidson.

Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen returned to CNN on Friday night to anchor the New Year's Eve coverage from Times Square. They did a great job.

Cohen has been hosting the event since Kathy Griffin left, and the Bravo star and his friend hosted it once more. They were joined by special guests, checked-in with other correspondents from around the country, and laughed at Cooper's dismay.

Just like in years past, Cohen's most energetic and definitely tippy moments are making news on New Year's Day. Andy even admitted that he had drunk a lot, tweeting Saturday "Um, was I a bit too served last night" and adding on Instagram "But man, did I have fun!"

Cohen lashed out at Bill de Blasio (outgoing New York Mayor) in a video that has been viewed over one million times since it was posted on the east coast just after midnight.

Cooper warned Cohen not to "go on an rant" and Cohen did exactly that. Andy screamed, "Watching Mayor de Blasio perform his victory lap dance after having served four years as New York's most corrupt mayor, the only thing Democrats and Republicans can agree upon is how horrible he has been."

"2022! It's a brand new year because, guess what? I feel like I'll be right there next year. And you know what? I won't be dancing in the chaos. You!" He added.

Cohen called out some of his competition a couple times during the show -- specifically, Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest.

After a live performance by Seacrest, smoke began to build up behind the hosts at 11:40 ET. Cohen wasn't thrilled.

He snorted, "There's smoke coming Ryan Seacrest’s group of losers who are performing behind us." "If you have been watching ABC tonight you've probably seen nothing. I'm sorry."

Journey appeared on ABC's show 7 minutes later -- Cohen was not impressed.

He said about the Arnel Pinda-fronted group, "Speaking Of Journey, I just got doused in confetti by fake Journey appearing on ABC." It doesn't matter if it's Steve Perry! It's Journey! It's propaganda! It wasn't Journey. Steve Perry is Journey.

Anderson tried to be a peacemaker by telling Andy that "things will change". But his cohost was not having it.

Kris Jenner was one of the guests that called in to the show -- Andy couldn't resist the opportunity to ask her about her daughter Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson.

"Everyone is talking to Kim about Pete Davidson's new relationship. Do you have the opportunity to spend time with them together? What is their relationship like as a couple? Cooper asked him the same question and he replied, "You're always digging Andy!"

Jenner was lucky to have Kylie Jenner’s daughter Stormi Webster enter the frame and put her head in the camera.

Kris laughed, "Nice distraction, great timing, Stormi. Perfect." "Right on time!"

Their time was up, and Cohen's question Q went unanswered.

Andy and Anderson shows wouldn't be complete without a few shots. The first night was dedicated to Betty White, who died at 99 the day before.

Andy let loose with one of his trademark squeals after he had downed the first bit of booze. He continued popping up in memes, GIFs throughout that night with more of the disgusted reactions to the alcohol they were continuing to drink.

Although this clip does not include Anderson or Andy, it was broadcast shortly after midnight during CNN's Telecast. It was a celebration of the new year by Don Lemon with Alisyn Camerota and comedian Dulce Sloan in New Orleans.

Sloan, when asked about her resolution for 2022 she first replied, "Live yo Life" before adding something more NSFW. "Do you know my resolution for 2022?" No more broke dick, okay?" She said it to Lemon, who was perplexed.

She clarified that "no more penis from an unmarried man" as she did when she first fell in love with Lemon and Camerota. "Can you say that on TV?" Is that okay? Lemon joked that she wasn't saying she was a gold digger, but she agreed to add, "Is that okay?"

She concluded that anyone who acquires male genitalia should attach it to someone who can fly them to the Caribbean.
