Witnesses claim that a Florida mom was killed during an argument over a parking spot.

After confronting a man who had park in the designated spot for her daughter, Olga Fernandez was reportedly drag to her death.

It happened in Hialeah on Sunday, February 13, 2013, outside her Hialeah apartment, where she lived with her adult children.

Police were told by neighbors that Fernandez's 24-year old daughter was returning home from school when she saw someone parking in her spot. She asked him to move, but he refused. Fernandez's 24-year-old daughter returned home from school and found that someone was parked in her spot. She called her mother to report the incident, but it was their last conversation.

Fernandez's best friend, Ileana Ajo, told NBC Miami that her daughter said, "Mom, someone's in the parking lot."

"She heard her mother screaming when she got out of the toilet."

Witnesses claim that the car pulled the mother-of-two into the street and then ran over her, before she fled the scene.

Paramedics attempt to save Fernandez on the spot before she is taken away in an ambulance. Later, she died in hospital.

Hialeah Police are currently on the lookout for a black Toyota Corolla that has front damage.

Ajo stated that Fernandez's daughter Diana remains in shock.

Ajo stated that the girl said she couldn't close her eyes when she saw her mother bleeding from her mouth.

She said, "I feel like half my life has been taken away." "Yesterday, it was revealed that I will be becoming a grandmother once again. I am far from happy. I felt sad because I wanted her to tell me, but she was not there."

Jeanette, another distraught neighbor, told WESH that she heard the commotion and was afraid to look. Fernandez saved Jeanette's three-year old daughter's life once when Fernandez died.

She said that her daughter had lost her ability to breathe and was blacking out. "My mother ran, but she doesn’t know how to drive. Olga saw my mother and dialed 911 to give her CPR.

She saved my daughter's lives, she is a great person. I will never forget her kindness and will always be there to support my children.

The family has raised nearly $8,000. Thanks to GoFundMe.
