Fox News hosts Neil Cavuto revealed that he had been diagnosed with COVID-19, despite having been fully vaccinated. Cavuto, in his first interview since his diagnosis, gave an update on his health and that of his wife, who was also positive for COVID. Cavuto also voiced his disgust at the "hyperpoliticized" debate surrounding vaccines.

Neil Cavuto's First Post-COVID Interview

The Your World with Neil Cavuto host tested positive for COVID-19 on October 19. Cavuto is 63 years old and has many underlying conditions that make him susceptible to the virus. Cavuto credited his full vaccination for the mild case of COVID-19, which has caused the deaths of more than 700,000.

Cavuto spoke for the first time since being diagnosed on MediaBuzz. He assured viewers that he was feeling better and that Mary had also been tested positive for the novel virus shortly after he did. "I feel terrible about that. Cavuto jokingly said that the dog was fine and would be okay. Soon, the discussion moved to the "hyperpoliticized" nature the vaccine.

Cavuto admitted that the decision to get the vaccine was his own, but he maintained that it was the best way for you and your family to be protected. He explained that half of the breakthrough cases are made up of immunocompromised people such as himself who have had MS, heart problems or cancer and were unable to get the vaccine. Cavuto was diagnosed with cancer in the 1980s and had open heart surgery in 2016.

Cavuto appealed to viewers to take the shot, as most breakthrough COVID cases are found in those over 65 with underlying conditions. We'd all be happier if we could all get vaccinated.

Cavuto encouraged people to ignore the politicized debate surrounding the COVID vaccine and instead "take the political talking points and toss" them. Please toss them.

Cavuto: One Last Plea

He said, "This isn't about right or left. It doesn't matter if you are a conservative or liberal. Last time I checked, this was true for everyone, regardless of political affiliation.
