Daisy Lowe was described by the musician as "the most generous sweet beautiful thoughtful kind and empathetic sister and daughter."

Gavin Rossdale celebrated his daughter's birthday by having a night out as a family with his four children.

On Thursday, the 56-year-old rocker posted a sweet tribute to his oldest child, Daisy Lowe (33), on Instagram.

Rossdale shared three photos taken at a Lowe family celebration. Rossdale shared two photos of Lowe ringing another year. He also posted a rare photo of him with his entire family: Lowe, Zuma, 13, and Apollo, 13.

Rossdale wrote in the caption of the above post: "Happy Birthday @daisylowe - what a joy! - and we're so glad to have you here on your birthday [sic]- the most generous sweet breathtaking thoughtful kind and empathic daughter and sister!"

He said, "we love and admire you so very much." Enjoy this evening and enjoy the year ahead. All our love."

Kingston Rossdale, Rossdale's younger brother, posted a story on his Instagram Story that featured the celebration for his sister. Lowe smiled in the photo, and Lowe wrote "Happy Birthday big sis, love you." Lowe shared Kingston's Story post and wrote, "So special just to be with you." Lowe added Kingston and Zuma to her Story, along with Rossdale.

Rossdale has three children with Gwen Stefani and is father to Lowe, his ex-wife.

Bush's lead singer posted a January 1st post. Rossdale shared a touching photo of himself with his three sons, Apollo, 7, and Apollo standing in front of a Christmas tree.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR" - It's difficult to look back on the past year without some confusion. Rossdale wrote the caption to the post. "It's wonderful that we get to begin again - let's hope it's as fulfilling and as satisfying as possible - and we get some reprise from this madness.

He said that holiday times can be difficult for many people. "Life isn't easy for everyone - may this be the year you have the chance and the good fortune that you deserve – empathy and kindness are the best fuel - with my love to yours.
