According to reports, the real estate developer and his 27-year-old model daughter are now dating 47 year old actor.

Mohamed Hadid, Gigi Hadid’s father, weighs in on the rumored romance between his daughter and Leonardo DiCaprio.

DailyMail.com interviewed the real estate developer about reports that the actor and model are currently dating.

Mohamed, 72, stated that he met Mr. DiCaprio at St. Tropez about four to five years ago. He is a very nice person." He was a good friend of mine.

He said that Gigi, Leo and his friends are great "friends" and that he doesn’t think they are “dating.”

Mohamed said to Daily Mail that they are friends and have known each other for a while. "I have not spoken with my daughter about Mr. DiCaprio. They are not dating, I think they are good friends. But, I don't really know.

Mohamed asked how he would feel ifhis daughter were dating the "Titanic” star. Mohamed replied, "I don’t comment on my daughters personal relationships. I don't have any control over who she is with.

Gigi and Leonardo were photographed together earlier in the week, following reports that they may be having a relationship. Daily Mail photos show the pair chatting at a New York City party on Monday. According to the outlet, Richie Akiva (Leo's friend) and Darren Dzienciol (Darren Dzienciol) hosted the event at Casa Cipriani.

E! was informed by a source that Leo is "enjoying being single" and that Gigi and he are "not exclusive". E! News has learned that Leo enjoys being single and that Gigi is not his only love.
